Shame on the school principle to suggest that the issue surrounding the attempted suicide was blown out of proportion. This incident is very tragic, and needs to be dealt with in a more responsible way.

What? You don't think she is disappointed that her name and picture aren't in the paper? She tried a little "cutting" and it got blown out of proportion.

"justthefacts" (SB Sun) How sad that the reporter didn't confirm the facts before writing this story. I spoke to the Principal and found out the real story. "Cutters" are looking for attention from their parents - not trying to commit suicide. The so-called "victim" actually started the incident and made up the story to keep from getting into trouble for fighting.- Told you so - Bill

The parents have blown it out of proportion, but now that the girl was distraught enough to try and kill herself NOW we will change her class and get her off the bus? Oh and what is going to happen to the kid who is bullying her? Probably nothing, because that would require a backbone on the part of the principal. Why isn't he the one out of the classes and off the bus? Because it is easier to blame the victim than deal with the parents who have raised a bully, and who are probably bullies themselves. Mr. Clarey you are the principal and get paid the big bucks to deal with this so DEAL with the BULLY, NOT the victim!!! You are just lucky that she wasn't successful in her suicide attempt. Will it take a successful attempt by another student before you actually take action?

Clement, Clement.... these poeple make me phisically ill. Mr. Clarey should be FIRED and anyone else who thinks its alright to allow ANY child to be bullied!! YOUR THE ADULT, they trust that you will be THERE TO PROTECT THEM!!They LOVE to sweep this under the rug...because they are there for their precious paychecks, instead of standing up and doing what is best for the child!!

I have launched a new website that is designed to stop bullying and abuse. http://www.haltnow.ca/ - Humanity Against Local Terrorism - HALT. I would to ask if you would be interested in adding an article(s) onto the site to help us fight these crimes against our children, friends and family.

The more of our voices that say HALT; the more of our children we can save. This new website offers education, prevention, support and services to abused and bullied victims as well as hopefully finding a solution to stop this local terrorism of bullying, abuse and domestic violence within our communities. Please help us stop these senseless acts.

Please take time to visit this site, become a member and add your voice.

Wishing you all the best

John
