Why should she sue? She removed herself by not following rules.

Because we have a system of due process, something you would wish to utilize if you were the subject of legal proceedings.
I do feel that Sylvia James removed herself by losing the election to Sabrina Johnson.
The lawsuit is more about money, reputation and spite. She has just the perfect attorney for it too, Mayer Morganroth. Mayer was the attorney for John Delorean and Cristine Beatty. He, representing the city, also squared off against Norman Yatooma who represented the estate of Tamara Greene.
Bottom line best guess: The original decision will stand and the taxpayers lose by paying costs.

I agree. She had time in court. She was removed. I was in her courtroom as juror in September 2010. Nice lady.but wrong is wrong. She has right to appeal. I feel she did not do things to the level of Hathaway.point is rules have to be followed. u can see what happened at airport when rules r not followed.people want to run and hide instead of being accountable.this hurt the reputation of the big wigs there. I wish Sylvia James well.

All of these cuts are necessary because Snyders plan cuts revenues by giving businesses $1.73 billion in tax cuts an 86% decrease in taxes paid by businesses.
When you look at the cuts that are being made, consider the impact on local municipalities already reeling from an economic recession that took its toll on Michigan more than nearly any other in the country. Corrections cuts. Community health cuts. Human services cuts. Revenue sharing cuts. All of these put an even greater burden on our cities and other municipalities. They literally have the potential to take them over the edge into full-blown financial catastrophe.
And, waiting on the sidelines like vultures ready to pick over the carcasses of these cities are Snyder and his Emergency Financial Managers (EFMs). They can come in, disband the local government, thereby disenfranchising the local residents, modify or cancel union contracts and use their now-expanded powers to restructure, reconfigure and otherwise refashion the cities in their own vision.

Your troll is not remotely related to the article.
No cuts of any kind were involved here.
