There were things that transpired that citizens feel r not ethical or proper. If these things would have surfaced before 2010, different people would be occupying the Guardian bldg. But since things were not apparent at voting time, ficano got in again. People r disillusioned with how so many things went unnoticed or were allowed to happen thinking they would not be caught.

Also some of top officials in county who did wrong were never scrutinized. Only when things went public. What does this really mean!? The severance sweetheart deal giving turkia was not proper.but some people there did nothing wrong.this shows that failure to adhere to procedures has extreme consequences even to innocent people.airport board already admitted she should never have been hired. Obviously a new board needs to be hired.none of this is rocket science......

And remember. Who is to blame for media coverage of wrong doing but officials who r paid by taxpayers? Not only r these people paid way above average compared to other regions but they have to be constantly watched to make sure what they do in their job is ethical and proper and fair.is that what officials in Wayne county have been doing? A precedent has to be set that tells these people that it will not be tolerated at any level.

And I speak for many thousands of people . Honesty and forthrightness is something that should be standard whether that position pay is $200,000 ++++ yearly or $25,000 yearly. Is this too much too ask from public? We all expect it and demand it whether city county state or federal. Does anyone out there disagree?
