This story made me cry.We had to have our 12 year old chow shar-pei mix put to sleep 2 years ago because of her terrible suffering from bone cancer. We stayed with her until the end and the vet had a stethoscope on her heart area and did several things to make SURE she was passed before pronouncing her dead.We still miss her so much.I hate to think of Mr.Oliverez's beloved pet having to suffer without care because of their financial difficulties.I would sue the PANTS off that vet. This is MALPRACTICE!!!Mr.Oliverez- I hope-gets at least her vet care taken care of from this. That is one special dog and I hope they treasure every remaining day they have with her.Does anyone know if there is anywhere donations can be sent for Mia's care?
