Jerry,
Or shall I call you Andrew? WOW, great detective work, you figured out my name. 2 brownie points. Not too hard when I have emailed you before. You are not licensed or zoned for a kennel and you're already on probation for having dogs. ResQ's 501(C)3 is valid, borrow a quarter and make the call yourself. I didn't have to sneak onto your property, you invited me and allowed us to take pictures. You SOLD me the dog for $100, there was never mention of any "donation", good way to cover your butt for the IRS except that you advertised her for sale in the Sacramento Bee, shall I post a copy to refresh your memory? |

QUOTE who="Kelly" The Daily News newspaper also claimed that Janie Hopper adopted the dogs which has now been retracted. If you'd like to take the time to call for yourself you will see that the 501(c)3 has not been suspended either.
JANIE HOPPER MAY NOT HAVE ADOPTED THESE DOGS HERSELF, BUT HER COHORTS (ONE BEING FRANCES PLUNKETT) CERTAINLY DID, AND NOW SHE HAS CONTROL OF THEM. READ THE ARTICLE WHICH STATES A SPOKESPERSON FROM THE SECRETARY OF STATE SAID THE 501(c)3 WAS SUSPENDED IN 2002 AND SHE HAS NOT BEEN IN COMPLIANCE SINCE. KELLY YOU ARE MAKING YOURSELF LOOK AS GUILTY AS RESQ COALITION. ALSO WHY DIDN'T SHE TRY AS HARD TO SAVE THE RED FLAGGED/URGENT DOGS AT THE SHELTER THAT DAY?????? ISN'T THAT WHAT A RESCUE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS?? SAVE THE DOGS WHOSE TIME IS UP!!!!!!!!!! |
LMAO wow are you ignorant. Again I ask you how many dogs and cats are destroyed yearly tha the so called shelter? I would rather a unlicensed pet resque have the animals then EUTHANSIA do you know what they do there? Did you resuce or find homes for any of the REDFLAGGED dogs, that you seem so concerned about, yea that what I thought. So how long does a dog have there before they are diposed of? Hmmmmmmmmm? So i think at the Tehama county Shelter I would consider all dogs RED FLAGGGED, or do you want them to put the small dogs in with the pit bulls, like they have done in the past?????????? |
Once again, some are missing the point. Burch has broken the law AGAIN, has gotten caught AGAIN and now has to try and point the finger at ResQ for exposing his puppy mill AGAIN. The animals in ResQ's care are being well cared for, treated for their infections and parasites, being socialized and will be adopted into approved households once they are altered, as it should be.

Sharon, you may wat to get your facts straight. And YES I have saved and found homes for some of those red flagged animals and they have made wonderful pets!!!!
These radical resucees like Hopper, Plunkett and this Kelly person believe they are above the law and go as far as harassing the public when they are trying to adopt one of cutesy toy breeds. Call me ignorant if that makes you feel better as a person because I do know what has to be done and YES it is horrible. But if this resq coalition concentrated more on those red flagged animals, than the cutesy toy breeds on the DAY the are up for adoption, maybe euthanasia wouldn't happen as much?!?!?!?!?! |
Your right maybe I do not have my facts straight. I am just a dog lover big or small. And if they were a resque for pit bulls I would defend them just the same. I think what resQ is doing is awesome, and I wish there were a resque group for all breeds and mixed. Which you are aware that thanks to those wonderful breeders more and more of the "Cutsey" dogs, the mixed small breeds that are sold in our local pet stores, are soon no longer wanted after they are grown. I am glad there are groups to help the poor little unwanted dogs. |

Did anyone take notice to post #26? It appears that Kelly posted as if she were Jerry Burch. Notice the same "Saint Louis, MO" address. Kelly, you are stooping pretty low.

this comment was not posted by me--jerry burch--it was posted by kelley-i dont recieve any disability--just social security which i worked many years for--the rules for social security is i have no limit to how much i can earn--but i have never earned a dime this year since these nutsos have targeted me-i closed voluntarily once i was informed of the zoning--yes i was cited for too many dogs as i wasent able to find homes for all of them in the 45 days the county gave me--i was cited for haveing 2 dogs over the limit-i plead guilty and was given time to find homes for them so the resque group wouldnt get them and sell them or have them die at animal control.. the dogs with puppies were confined in roomy cages only at night-all the other dogs had roomy yards with toys and swimming pools and tons of love--i was never a puppy mill.i showed and loved my dogs for over 40 years.com e visit the place and se where and how the dogs were kept-if you want the truth--if not , go ahead and believe the lies--se my website for photos www.flashbackfarm.com |

It seems that some people on here believe that there is a leak at the Animal Shelter. That may be true, but years ago when I attended some PAWS meetings, I remember Janie Hopper being there as well as Frances Plunkett. Some of the people belong to multiple "Animal Welfare" groups. I have also seen members of PAWS volunteering at the Shelter. Between a possible leak and the PAWS group, the Rescue had the potential to get their hands on any dog they wanted before the general public even had a chance. Just my two cents worth. Thanks for reading.

The euthansia rate for dogs at Tehama County was 11.5% in 2006, unsure of the current rate. Deaths in the shelter would be a higher percentage if you include animals put down due to contracting Parvo. |

Go Kelly, save the dogs!
Close down all puppy mills an lock up the people who run them.
OUCH! Bet that left a mark... |
