Ryan goes down for the count

Norm Ryan coulda been a contender. Before Long Beach voters soured on one of the forces behind the city's utility tax revolt, Ryan had visions of greatness.

Ryan got off easy, and the Hirko sentence is simply shameful. He should be in prison for at least 5 years. Who was the Judge in Hirko's case? Whoever it was failed in his duty to the criminal justice system, and to the public which it is supposed to protect.
