I tweet, you tweet, even Pawlenty tweets

Full story: TwinCities.com

Minnesota politicians long ago perfected the art of using lots of words to say almost nothing.

Don't presume that everyone tweets. That is one craze I'm staying away from. I don't think people want to know every little thing that I do each day, it seems tedious.

Here's an idea, talk to someone.

Everyone doesn't "Tweet". I share the same sentiment as nitrain. This whole nonstop communications amongst people with nothing too important to say (Facebook, Myspace Tweeter) seems nothing more than vainglorious and ego-stroking.

This weekend I asked my 20-something kids if anyone their age was interested in "Twitter". They said definately not. This is one fad that's not going to last.

Why do you cover anything the Governor does? The real headline should be PAWLENTY HATES MINNESOTA. Try covering something of substance like how he is using the unallotment process to crush democracy and the views of the majority of Minnesotans.

The 140 character cap on tweets pretty much ensures nothing of substance can be related in a single tweet.

So by design, it's pretty much better suited for people blogging about their cat than substantive debate.

I have a feeling that you three would type the same thing even if the story was about Pawlenty planting a tree, setting an eagle free, and rescuing a child from a burning building.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Leo

Happy New Year Leo! I hope you had a fantastic night on the prowl... Celebrating the new year with your family will allow you to surround yourself with pleasure and joy (just keep the aspirin with you). It's your chance to do as you wish, leaving everyone else to wonder what you're up to! When you're in this great mood, the only person you're responsible to is yourself. Even in full pursuit of pleasure, your generosity is spectacular.
