Lloyd officer misfires gun at Highland school; FOLLOW @PoJoMikeCahill

Town of Lloyd police officers and town officials are meeting with Highland Central School District administration tonight after a school resource officer accidentially fired his weapon, according to Supervisor Paul Hansut.

Wrong verbiage. A misfire doesn't discharge ("go bang") when you want it to. This is a negligent discharge, something that goes "bang" when you don't expect it to, because you screwed up.
