I vote for inside a fence and not chained up for life OR running the streets. Thank you for following my posts. Do an internet search on continuous dog chaining. Let me know when you find one professional reference that recommends continuous dog chaining/or running at large.

I don't think he has released them. I think he has been keeping them in his house. Buzz isn't raising wolves to release them. He is raising them to sell them. But their not normal wolves. Their inbred. He keeps a male and a female from a litter and they have puppies and he tries to sell them. That's why their crazy and not afraid. My Cousin has a wolf and let me tell you, that wolf is a big baby. Eats dog food and milk and little weenies that come in a can. He loves to be petted and everything. Buzz's wolves aren't like that at all! A lot of people has went and complained on buzz before lahoma. But someone goes and pays his fine every time. He's been here for a while now. He didn't have much wolves at all. Until they started getting pregnant left and right. Mcgees and Buzz split the wolves. So buzz wouldn't keep getting in trouble for having too much. In my opinion Buzz is teaching them so when someone pisses them off, he'll release them in town. He is 3 blocks away from the school and a bunch of kids walk down that road. It would be a massacre. before anyone knew what was happening. Buzz says he is in this "New World Order" where it states he is pretty much above the law. He could've released some. He say so many I couldn't tell you. I witnessed buzz tying up a little lamb and letting the dogs attacked it. The horrible cries I heard when it happened. He had a chicken and same thing. He let the wolves attack it. Since the law about getting a permit for your dog was approved in town, I haven't seen much of them at all. I think he keeps them in his house. But I couldn't tell you for sure. When the wolves got out and attacked a little dog next door to him, It was bad. 3 wolves was playing tug of war with the dog. When Buzz tried to get the dog away, a wolf bit him. So they have a taste of human blood. He could've released them but like I said before I really don't know. You could drive by and see. He already stated before that we would shoot someone before they got into his yard. I go hunting now and then and hiking but I haven't seen anything. I been finding a lot of dead dogs around airport road. One dog well didn't even look like a dog at all. Big, muscled. It was Huge. I thought it was half something But I couldn't tell. Went yesterday and the body of that dog is still there but the head is gone. and the Golden retriever not far from it is gone to. So if he did release his wolves then no wonder their staying near town. If dogs go missing out near there, they probably think a wolf or coyote got it. Hell I even seen a dead beaver yesterday. For the many years I lived here I never seen a beaver. I have noticed all these animals showing up dead. It could be something in the water or the wolves. I don't know for sure. Buzz still has wolves because they howl at 2-3 at night every night.
The head is gone?

Hmmmm, What do you mean "So sometimes you just have to do what you have to do"??? Are you saying the city should allow people to do these kind of things to these animal? Do you think its ok for them to turn their heads and act like its not happening? because thats what they are doing! You think because they have misused their funds that we gave them that its ok to use what they have left on things they want and not want the town wants? If they would do their job in animal control alone they could generate the money to build and run a shelter.
I agree.

I think if talihina can put up two stop lights in town where only one is needed( makes us look stupid!) surely City Council could get a grant for a shelter. I wouldn't mind running it. I love most animals! Maybe we should all go to the next city council meeting and see what we can get done!?

It would be good if you could attend. Most of the meeting is difficult to follow. I try to attend every month although I missed last month. I have a Talihina phone number if u feel like contacting me for an update on our citizen's advocacy group which is consistently about 2 of us although others have identified an interest.

Only reason his dog is chained is because the dog got hurt at his mothers house when the wolves attacked him. I have my dogs in a pen. Does that make me a person who is cruel to animals? No, I don't think so. Yes, I sometimes don't agree. But, I seen some of the animals he had to deal with and let me tell you, they weren't nice. Maybe you should worry about the pack of dogs that are running around. A pack of dogs cornered a kid by the pool this past summer. If a dog is trying to bite or attack, I wont hesitate to kill it. I have a family to protect, and I will. I agree with "Excuse me" Don't gripe about animal cruelty on the internet. Get out there and help the animals. I do when I can, but taking 27 hours of college credit and getting ready to graduate in 25 days is hard. If I see a dog going hungry I buy its food no matter what dog it is. We had an animal shelter years ago and look how that turned out. People don't want to put an effort into it. But you turn around and gripe out it. Today I will go buy and see the dogs you mentioned and I will look myself (getting a degree in vet) I will report to peta if its bad. But since your griping about Rick Rose maybe you should look at Buzz or the Mcgees and see how many dogs they have. Which, mind you is 1 unhealthy for the animals, to have that many and be in a small running area. 2, fed live animals (mind you the wolves attacked some dogs here lately) 3. They try and attack if it wasn't for that fence some kid would have been killed by now) So before you start on someone maybe you should look at everyone.
I attend the city council meetings and met regularly with like-minded people to try to address the problem of cruelty throughout our town. This isn't a big deal just something we should all do - follow a passion to help something or someone and do whatever we can do or at least keep trying. I am aware of the issues to which you refer and I have weighed in on these situations with the city council and the police before. Nothing has changed nor will it until we have new council members. This is my focus now - to vote out the people who are not about working for change and voting in people who are willing to work.

Let’s get some of these spurious allegations against Buzz right shall we. I for one am getting rather sick and disgusted by the comments made on these forums, which is nothing more than a ‘witch hunt’ against someone who does not deserve this treatment. This is a man who would give the shirt of off his back and who has unbounded forgiveness, even to those you don’t deserve to be forgiven. The perpetrators of these lies and false allegations seem determined to stir up trouble where there is none, why? Ask yourselves that question before you judge someone. Fact (1) None of Buzz’s wolves have been released in the town or anywhere else for that matter. Fact (2) Buzz does not feed his animals live animals. Fact (3) Buzz’s wolves are people friendly as anyone who has been to his home can testify, and there are many people who have been to his house from all over Oklahoma and beyond, his wolves are friendly, well adjusted animals, much more so than any regular dogs, they don’t growl, show any aggression and just love to be petted. Fact (4) Buzz has never tied a baby lamb and let the wolves attack it, or any other animal for that matter (this is pure fantasy). Fact (5) Buzz does not breed his wolves for a living, nor does he keep a male or female from each litter for this purpose, animals have babies, babies need homes, he sells them for a very small price just to cover their food costs. Fact (6) There was mention of an incident with the next door neighbor’s dog, that animal was not injured in any way, Buzz’s wolf did not bite him, it was the dog that bit him when he got hold of it. Fact (7) Buzz’s wolves have never bitten anyone or even shown the slightest inclination of biting anyone. Fact (8) Buzz’s wolves are very well contained any incidences of them getting out have been few and far between and when this has happened it has been human error not because of bad containment. Fact (9) The only time the wolves howl is when there is some idiots who let their dogs roam the neighborhood or a siren goes off (I would like to challenge anyone whose dogs don’t bark under the same circumstances, the wolves howling is only more noticeable because of that, they howl rather than bark). So let’s stop this nonsense and put things into perspective, and all I can say to these people who are waging this deplorable vendetta against Buzz and his wolves is get a life, find something more charitable and meaningful in your lives and I hope your conscious and you God can forgive you.
Do we need more wolves in town?. Are more litters necessary? I kind of got the impression that the wolves were purposely being bred to sell.

I wish people would get their FACTS straight BEFORE they post comments that just make them look like the idiots they are. Buzz does not breed his animals for profit. Most, if not all of you commenting here know Buzz or know of him, why don't you just ASK him instead of making up misinformation about him and his wolves, he is passionate about his wolves and very approachable, you lot just leave me speechless sometimes because of your ignorance and hateful attitudes.

Yes I do know my facts actually, he does not breed them, in fact the vast majority of pups are given away, if he wanted to make a profit from them he would sell them for much more than he does. I know for a fact that he has been offered a great deal of money for more than one pup and has turned the offer down because he wasn't satisfied that the pup would be going to the right home or would be looked after properly, it costs money to feed his animals and if he can get some money to help his feed bill, that is a bonus.

I do know where he sells them, and it is not 'Main Street' it is 'Dallas Street' and why are you not out there with your hateful placards condemning each and every other person selling their pups, cats, goats, chickens etc? I can tell you why? because these other people are not on the receiving end of a viscous targeted hate campaign are they?

Would it be less expensive to spay and neuter. Is there a reason that more wolves are needed in town. I'm not attacking, just asking.

I think if you don't feed your chained up dog you probably don't treat your kids well either. That is what the research says anyway. I didn't make it up. I have a pit also - not chained up and not roaming the streets.

Yes, there are churches in town that always appreciate donations of food to feed children. The Nazrene church and St Paul's Episcopal both feed children. I'm sure there are others.

Lahoma you seem to be an intelligent person, I don’t know you personally, but have heard of you. The reason a female wolf if not spayed is because it would be a death sentence for her. Personally I respect everyone’s belief in either spaying and neutering, it is a personal choice. What I can tell you is that Buzz only has two wolves now, all the others have been re-homed out of state, this is not because of pressure from the towns people of Talihina, and believe me he had more support than opposition, but because he felt that his wolves needed to be homed elsewhere for their happiness, safety and welfare. Buzz’s animals have never been chained or abused so I fail to see why he is attacked under a thread labeled ‘ Animal Cruelty in Talihina’ and attacked, why? Are you all so afraid of his wolves? Have they ever attacked anyone like Jack England’s wolf did? Are his wolves roaming the streets causing people to be afraid of them? No they are not, why are you and the rest of this pathetic towns people trying to cause a problem where there is none?
