Fox News---We Deceive, You Believe.

It has been revealed that Fox News’ does practice using paid commenters with fake social media accounts, to deceive the online community. Members of Fox’s online PR staff created between twenty and a hundred fake profiles on social media accounts each. The accounts are used by PR staff in order to push the station’s extreme right-wing agenda.

The point of these fake commenters is not just to push a specific agenda. It’s also to deceive the unsuspecting public about the actual amount of support that exists for that agenda. Paid commenters use vicious attacks against anyone who posts an opposing opinion. Eventually the attacks have the effect of driving people with opposite views away from the targeted sites. This allows them to dominate the web with their fake profiles, while at the same time discouraging real people from participating in the discussion.

The right-wing agenda being pushed by these paid commenters, hired by Fox and other sources, doesn’t just include tax breaks for the rich and the myth of corporate person-hood. It includes racism, sexism, homophobia, hatred of the poor and much more

The sheriff said they found some kind of device in the shooter's locker and I think the shooter is decease, one in the hospital in critical condition and one still getting medical care but will be release today. The sheriff also said that the shooter acted alone and was looking for a particular teacher when he decided to shoot the students.

Like a frustrated child who flips over a board game and screams, "I win!", the George Soros-funded, tax exempt Media Matters for America declared victory in its years-long war against Fox News. Although Fox News regularly pulls in more viewers than both of its left-wing counterparts (CNN and MSNBC) combined, and recent polls show that Fox is trusted more than almost every other news source, Media Matters would like its donors to know it has won:

[I]n the coming years, Fox will no longer be the center of Media Matters' universe. That's because the group believes it has effectively discredited the network's desire to be seen as "fair and balanced."

"The war on Fox is over," said Media Matters Executive Vice President Angelo Carusone. "And it's not just that it's over, but it was very successful. To a large extent, we won."

As recently as last month, Fox News absolutely crushed CNN and MSNBC in the ratings. In both total viewers and the all-important 25-54 age demo, Fox News beat both of them combined. Moreover, out of over 100 channels, Fox News is #2 in all of cable.

When compared directly to its broadcast competition, 34% percent chose Fox as most trustworthy. Second place wasn't even close, with PBS at 13%. Fox was also the most mistrusted by 39% of viewers, but that just means that Media Matters wasn't even able to convince 20% of Obama supporters to mistrust Fox.

Changes made recently in the Fox News primetime line-up, including the addition of Megyn Kelly, have been a huge boon for a programming block that was already dominant. Meanwhile, CNN has announced it will move away from news during its primetime hours and MSNBC has lost half its primetime audience, compared to last year.

Fox News isn't just dominant, it's competition is in deep, deep water and either drowning or barely treading water.

If that's a victory for Media Matters, I'd love to know what defeat looks like.

But don't worry, Media Matters' donors, that's not a white flag you’re seeing. It's David Brock waving goodbye to you as his luxury Victory Cruise heads out to sea.

Maybe this explains why Karen is flipping out, hehehehehehehe, hah!

California has long been a union stronghold, but voters in the reliably Democratic state are gradually taking a more negative view of organized labor, a poll released Friday suggested.

The independent Field Poll said that by a narrow margin, more voters said unions do more harm than good, as opposed to those who see organized labor as generally beneficial.

The figures represent a turnaround from a 2011 Field survey, when more voters said unions resulted in more good than harm.

The shift comes at a time of ongoing labor conflicts in the state and nation, often involving government employee pensions and retirement benefits. It also tracks a long-running national trend, in which support for labor unions has gradually slipped.

Two healthcare.gov contractors are defying requests from the Obama administration asking them not to cooperate with congressional investigators.

"Americans should be disturbed that this administration is trying to stop government contractors from providing Congress with documents related to the decision to launch healthcare.gov while known and serious security vulnerabilities were and still may be present," House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said in a statement Friday.

"The committee has told [the Department of Health and Human Services] that it will make needed consultations with security experts to ensure the protection of sensitive information," Issa said. "The administration's remaining objections are a specious effort to hide serious problems and reckless decision-making by officials."

The committee has been seeking information on whether healthcare.gov adequately protects the private information of health care consumers signing up for the site. The oversight committee is seeking information from two security contractors, MITRE Corp., and Creative Computing Solutions Inc (CCSi).

Both of these companies announced Friday they would comply with congressional subpoenas despite pleas from administration officials not to do so.

On Friday, Media Matters for America announced victory in its longtime war with Fox News. The George Soros-funded organization announced to Huffington Post that “in the coming years, Fox will no longer be the center of Media Matters’ universe.” Vice President Angelo Carusone explains,“The war on Fox is over. And it’s not just that it’s over but it was very successful. To a large extent, we won.”

How, exactly, did Media Matters win if Fox News remains a prohibitive ratings monster against competitors MSNBC and CNN, and retains far more of the public trust than either of those networks? Carusone does not say.

Nonetheless, Media Matters says it is now moving on to smaller targets in the new media. According to Huffington Post, Media Matters wants to center in on “new, increasingly influential targets, including Spanish-language media, social media streams, alternative online outlets and morning and entertainment sources.”

Presumably, that means bringing its media thug tactics to bear on new media sources. Of course, Media Matters has already jumped into the business of monitoring and demonizing those in the online right (including a huge amount of attention for Breitbart News and its various writers and editors). So what Media Matters frames as victory looks significantly more like a “Mission Accomplished” moment for an organization desperately seeking its next battle – with somebody less powerful than Fox News.

Ben Shapiro is Editor-At-Large of Breitbart News and author of the New York Times bestseller “Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America”(Threshold Editions, January 8, 2013). He is also Editor-in-Chief of TruthRevolt.org . Follow Ben Shapiro on Twitter @benshapiro.

LMAO. Good deal. Why would the White House's HHS not want the truth out in the sunshine to be viewed by the public? It's becoming alarmingly clear this administration has no respect for the laws of our country much less the constitution of our country. Each of these people were sworn in under a oath to protect and adhere to the laws and constitution of our land.

Those who violate it are shatting on everything Americans hold sacred.

A recently released Reason-Rupe Poll shows that mental health treatment, better parenting, and armed guards at schools trumps more gun control with the majority of Americans.

Published by Reason.com , the poll asked what could have prevented the crime at Sandy Hook Elementary. Twenty-seven percent of respondents said mental health services "were the most important factor that may have prevented [it]."

Following this, "22 percent say better parenting is most critical" and "20 percent say having armed school officials or armed guards on site would have been the most likely way to prevent the tragedy."

The fourth means of preventing such a tragedy was gun control, which came in at 16 percent.

Hackers were able to obtain personal information from 104,179 Department of Energy employees and contractors during an attack this summer, according to the Inspector General.

An attack in July 2013, one of at least three cyber security breaches at the department, allowed hackers to access individuals’ Social Security and bank account numbers with “relative ease.”

The Energy department was aware of “early warning signs” that personally identifiable information (PII) of its employees was at risk, according to the special report of the incident released last Friday.

“The attackers in this case were able to use exploits commonly available on the internet to gain unfettered access to the relevant systems and exfiltrate large amounts of data—information that could be used to damage the financial and personal interests of many individuals,” the IG said.

And this is the county where children and dogs are abused routinely.
Yes, one armed guard for each student might cut down on gun violence.

Give a handgun for Christmas. A warm gun says so much.

Sheila Jackson Lee(D) TX shared some impassioned words of wisdom on the floor, I thought it was so eye-opening I wanted to share with the world her epiphany...

"as the Holy Father the Pope has admonished us we must extend charity and compassion. We must extend unemployment benefits for the working families of America"...(she got louder as the her time expired and the gavel rang out numerous times)she repeated her nonsensical statement apparently clueless to what she had actually said.

You are so right. The Jesus didn't care for the poor either, neither should
the Pope. If we let free market natural selection work as God intended,
the poor would starve and cease to be an eyesore.

Keep up the good work. People like you make us proud to
be Americans.

That female is a lunatic. Every time she opens her mouth, I wonder about the people that voted for her.

Notice none of the anti-Christian, Jesus hating liberals are flipping out over her mixing religion and government. It's perfectly fine for the Jesus haters to do it, but not Christians. Hypocrisy

BUYER'S REMORSE: Obama voters: Had we KNOWN the TRUTH about Obamacare we would have voted for ROMNEY http://t.co/YmRygmFcCE

"It is not lost on many of the professionals that they are exactly the sort of people — liberal, concerned with social justice — who supported the Obama health plan in the first place. Ms. Meinwald, the lawyer, said she was a lifelong Democrat who still supported better health care for all, but had she known what was in store for her, she would have voted for Mitt Romney.

It is an uncomfortable position for many members of the creative classes to be in.

“We are the Obama people,” said Camille Sweeney, a New York writer and member of the Authors Guild. Her insurance is being canceled, and she is dismayed that neither her pediatrician nor her general practitioner appears to be on the exchange plans. What to do has become a hot topic on Facebook and at dinner parties frequented by her fellow writers and artists."

China's Chang'e 3 lander, named after a mythical Chinese goddess of the moon, has touched down on the moon.

BEIJING — State media say China has safely carried out the world's first soft landing of a space probe on the moon in nearly four decades.

State television showed pictures of the moon's surface as the Chang'e 3 lander touched down Saturday evening.

The lander carries a moon rover called "Jade Rabbit" that will separate from the lander and embark on a three-month scientific exploration.

China is the third country to carry out a lunar soft landing after the United States and the former Soviet Union. The last one was in 1976.

China's ambitious space program is an enormous source of pride for the country. China plans to eventually land people on the moon
