Volunteering to help veterans would give an all over education to anyone who wants to learn what it is like being a veteran. Many vets can tell stories that others have no idea about. Many vets may want to embellish their enlistment stories but it still makes for an education about what is is like to be in the military. Sometimes it part of jut belonging. Sometimes it is for the memories. Sometimes it is just for the caring and wanting to be a part of just helping. I have met many a volunteer who feels very strongly about just sharing and this gives a sense of self worth. Volunteering is a worthwhile experience for anyone who wants to help veterans 'adjust' to an already screwed up society. I wish I could volunteer. I have seen so volunteers with pride in what they do. Thank you for caring volunteers...!
