Come on guys have mercy on me if I lose this job you think anyone will hire me?
All my life I have been a kiss ass crony , I know nothing else ,
I kissed ass for living, I talk fast too so people think I am smart. I failed as an Attorney then failed as a Judge now I am failing as a supervisor , but all the people whose ass I have kissed for so many years won't let me go , plus I have too many mindless Cronies of my own who get me votes every time , they won't let me go now either
They will be nothing without these patronage jobs I have given them so
I am doing the best I can to fool all the people all the time ,cause my life is based on
Fooling people, taking their tax money giving myself a raise hiring my enemies to work for the town just to shut them up , I hope I can keep this gig up for ever.

The town's building dept has swung to the opposite end of the pendulum since this scandal has occurred. Present homeowners are paying inspection fees, permit fees, etc for work or upgrades performed long before they became the property owners. I think it is an unfair burden on the current residents because it was never picked up during previous sales of the property by the building dept inspectors during construction projects, oil to gas conversions, etc. we all pay an extraordinary amount of taxes and actually get little for it except headaches. I've always thought that I should be permitted , for instance, to update my kitchen, add a bathroom without it effecting my taxes. No matter how many bathrooms I have, I can only sit on one of them at a time! The time has come to completely revamp the bldg dept. they know they have the upper hand because your trying to sell your home and can bully you about any issue they feel like on that particular day. I understand there are nearly forty employees in that dept, yet it takes 8-12 weeks to review and hopefully approve a permit. In all my dealings with civil servants, especially this bldg dept, I've never seen anyone break a sweat. TRUE MUNICIPAL PARASITES!!!
