I personally love the Red Bud Hospital. My family member works there, and the night shift people are amazing, and caring towards their patients. Jill, Neal, Lisa, and Steph are all great people and they are great nurses as well. I know a few times where you've had to wait a few minutes to get into the emergency room but that's pretty rare now-a-days. I have been to this hospital many times, and was even admitted for 6 days, and they all took good care of me, and the family members staying with me for those six days. The rooms are pretty clean and the janitor of the hospital works her butt off to clean them. Don't go trashing Red Bud. I personally don't like St. E's. The people there are sometimes rude and it's not a very "comfy" hospital to me. Go Red Bud :)

That establishment is a load of SH*T! First off, those who run the place are, for the majority, idiots. As usual, it's in red bud...so if you don't have the right last name you're screwed.(This goes as far as the employees are concerned) Second, apparently it's okay to work in a hospital/nursing home/kitchen setting while having a contagious rash, such as poison ivy. Yes, the person who handles the nursing home residents' trays, food, drinks, etc. has poison ivy all over their arms/hands/neck... RBR's concern was having to find another employee to cover the shift...When the REAL concern should have been giving the rash to elderly people who can get very sick very easily. Are you saying WTF yet? And lastly, how about this--- at Red Bud Hospital, in the kitchen, there are also employees who think it's funny to tamper with the resident's/patient's trays and eat food off of them, touch their phones (which are COVERED in germs) while handling food, let clean dishes fall on the DISGUSTING dishroom floor & not even rewash them before letting them be used, and half the time don't even wear hair nets or wash their hands. It has a complete lack of authority and work ethic. Well, I guess my main gripe wasn't with the hospital itself but moreso the kitchen. I've never been IN the hospital past the ER, which I do have to say i've never had an issue there. The kitchen is a f*cking joke, though.

DEAR RED BUD REGIONAL HOSPITAL,
GET A NEW MAIN SUPERVISOR FOR YOUR KITCHEN! The one you have now sucks!:)

Recently took someone who can't drive themselves there for an "appointment". Not the kind of appointment you and I think of, this was an appointment to wait in line. When you arrive(for your preset appointment you made on the phone) you have to sign a full form, every single time, then wait in line behind all the people who signed in before you, regardless of appointments. I'm. A grown man, one who's experienced quite a bit, and what I described is first come first serve, not a scheduled appointment. We arrived 10 minutes early, had to completely fill out forms like we had never been there before, then sit and wait. A half hour after the appointment time my friend asked if there was some delay, we had other things scheduled too, the lady explained they don't take appointments, its like. I said, first come first serve. We said then why did you let us think we had an appointment they said we did, to wait. We left. That's the most furped up crap I've ever heard from a medical facility, and I've heard enough. As much as I believe the quality of care has greatly improved, its indeed a fact that they charge roughly 3 times what any nearby facility does, and their appointment system sounds like a pollock joke. So, if you're poor or broke, don't use their emergency services without good insurance, a set broken leg will cost you your house, easily, find someone to drive you ANYwhere else. Only use them if you've got excellent insurance that covers almost everything with no caps or deductible, or your out of pocket will be like going other places without any insurance at all. I've got billing statements I've compared, and can prove how extremely high they are for even relatively simple tests.
