New people make new changes that f**k up everything. This lady need to go back to where she came from, cause she is not making a very good impression on the ones that work there or the ones that have family there.

I have family in the nursing home in Rector and if i see very many changes we will pull my mom out and put her somewhere that cares about the residents instead of other crap. I never saw anything wrong with the way things were before the woman left that was the adminstrator. If this is truly what is going on now, then maybe someone should let state know and get this woman gone before she messes up more than someone can fix!!!!

from the way things are goin. things are changing. she has cut alot of peoples hours big time. the workers are not happy. no one can make a living on 5 to 7 days a pay period. rumor is she gonna cut more people. but rumors are rumors. but she is not doing the cnas right. i think it gonna get bad before it over. like someone else said she needs to go back where she came from.

I don,t know what is going to happen at that facility. I do know that she has never made any attempt to speak are get to know the residents and this has not gone un-noticed, they are talking among themselfs and to the staff about how she has not stopped and introduced herself to them or any family members and several family members are very upset. She wants to improve the appearance of the facility and the hell with quality of care. she has cut the staff almost in half on days. then tells the charge nurses that every male resident will be shaved every day by 10AM, this is not possible whe you only have 6 CNAS for 60 plus residents, yes you have 2 in showers, but they are not doing the care that the hall cnas are doing, such as cleaning and changing, making beds, nailcare, shaving, toileting. She has cut restorative to one so I don't know if my mother will get her exercise or not, they were walking her 3-5 times a week. This just isn't right. I will be checking into another facility for mom.I also be calling state because everyone knows that when you don't have enough help it's the residents that suffer. Somethings got to give or we won't have a #1 facility just a good looking facility with poor quality of care and a bad reputation.

Hope things change as well but you'll just have to wait and see or take the bull by the horns now before half of them leave for other jobs.

I hope that Cooper's inc (whch has the funds to do this) looks up who each of you trouble makers are and disciplines you. They are strict about their workers behavior inside and outside of work. Cooper's demands their workers to have good integrity and you people are not reflecting good integrity. There are always changes with new administration. No one does everything the same. You cannot tell me Rector Healthcare did not need to change in some ways. I am in administration and I would want things done familiar to me. If you decide you can not work as a team at the nursing home and be positive, resign.

It seems to me that "Christopher Peppers" seems to know alot about the nursing home, could this possibly be the so called "New Administrator"? If so i hope you notice its the family members like myself that are concerned for the care our family is getting in the nursing home. To who ever you are i hope all the changes that are taking place will be for the better, but its not looking good so far. Hell, you moved the birds my mom loved and she love sitting on the couch you put in the garbage.(Maybe you could have aleast donated that to the family that just lost everything to a house fire) that would have looked better than thinking it wasnt good enough for my mom to sit on!!!But like i said my family will be looking in to another nursing home that cares about the people not stupid crap. I have also called state with my concerns.

Well i just heard today that the DON turned in her notice! I hate to see that place go through all of this. That facility has already went through soooo many changes in the past 2 years. The residents and staff deserve good administration!

where did you get your information ? Because maybe she isnt doing what any body likes but we all have our own way of doing thigs. But if cutting your hours bothes you that much why dont you talk to her about it. Changes arent always for the best but we all have to live and learn by trail and error. But this is only one person view

I am not perfect by any means but, i felt obligated to say something. I don't understand how this new administrator can do what is best for the facility when she hasn't even took the time to talk to the residents or employees. To the residents of this facility this is a home and the employees are family to them as well. Afterall, the employees are with them everyday or at least they were until their hours got cut. To some of these residents this will be the last place that they call home and this new administrator is ruining that for them. Somewhere in her heart she has to know she is going about this all the wrong way, that is if she has a heart. One of these days when she is a resident in a nursing home she will realize that a nursing home isn't just pictures and furniture but a home!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Libra

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
