Wondering Why

United States

#1 Jan 5, 2012
Just wondering why all these people on dope run around doing and selling dope all the time and no one ever does anything. There children and family are going thru the shame of the county knowing what they are and what they are doing. Margaret and her low life boyfriend need to be stopped. The tweekers are unreal in this town, and it is very disturbing that my children grow up in this town and play outside. It is horrible that her daughter has to go thru all she does between her mom and dad it is ridiculous. I wish the authorities would stop these people and lock them up. Make treatment mandatory, and stop letting them just drive around like it is ok.

Apparently the original poster is having an issue with the drugs around them. Show some sympathy. The drug problem is everywhere. Everyone is affected by it some more than others. I pray that something is done and that my life or quality of life is never harmed by the use/affect of them.

They all have been called and nothing is being done about it. Glad your so opinionated that you would try to tell someone what to do or what to post.I posted hoping to get the commuinty we live in involved in stopping the drugs being made and sold in our town. It could be your child they are getting hooked in dope or getting your children or grandchildren to sell the dope for them. So that IS why I posted on TOPIX. Hope this has answered your question.

If it were someone in my family you can bet I wouldn't be on topix asking for help. I think you're trying to cause this family more trouble and could careless about them. Call the mayor, call DHS , call the police, call the arkansas state police, call the sheriff dept. The one thing I would tell you not to do is get on topix and put family members names on here. You're only trying to hurt someone not help them. Drugs are a problem EVERYWHERE not just Rector. And just so you know my bother was on meth and cooked the crap. We got him help and guess what it didn't come a site on the internet that only runs people in the community down. Why don't you grow up and stop trying to cause this family especially the children more trouble. If you wanna help do it the right way and that is NOT topix.
This makes me sick. Dopeheads are allowed to keep not only their freedom, but are subjecting their kids to their abusive ways. FYI, you could call everyone on this list and even take pictures and hospital reports of the abuse that dopers do to their children and nothing gets done!!!!!! I guess paperwork or having to go to court would be too much work for these agencies. The child has no choice but to endure abuse in ways you cant imagine. what I cant understand is how would these people who are supposed to protect those who cant protect themselves, feel if this were their child or family member. The elderly and disabled are most likely to suffer from abuse, its a horrible injustice when the system abuses them too!!

Look I don't disagree with anything you have written about what the children go through. It's awful and thank goodness I dont have any experience with that. I do have with calling and reporting some one doing/selling drugs. You can get it done can they come and just remove the kids no because it has to be done the legal way and if that's not fast enough for you sorry. If the police could just come and remove kids with out of proof and just take someone's words that is was one way or a another would not be good either. I was not taking up for any drug heads all I was trying to get out was the person whom first posted put names on here and would be causing the children more pain. Why not try and do something that would actually help them rather than come on topix. Also if you have proof a child is being hurt and will provide it to a police officer thay can and will Remore a child
instantly. Also if you called the list I posted with pictures and reports they would help. If you write u have this and that and did call police, dhs, and they did nothing I'd say you are full of crap and never called anyone. You just like to talk crap on topix.

FYI, i can count on 1 hand how many times i have ever been on topix of anykind! And if you think I am lying about the injustice that occurs in this town/county/state, you are full of crap! I could write a book on the things that goes on here w/pictures and reports of all kinds and still no JUSTICE!! My prayer is that noone will suffer like my child and I have, and the only way to make sure that won't happen is to go public with our story when the time is right. I just pray that our suffering has not been in vain. Gods' will be done..... I will not be replying, I have said what I want to say. I have more important things to do, as you can see. God bless all who read, and if you know someone who is suffering from injustice, pray for them and if you can help. I am sure they would appreciate it , I would~~

well mandatory treatment dont do nothin but pi$$ off the ones that get caught and when they get back out they are right back on it. you can only help someone in that position if they wanna be helped. no they dont need to be here but mandatory help wont do a thing but waste tax dollars. and we all know there is enough there bein wasted already.

rector definitly needs to do something about all the drugs and the people on drugs. the police should be investigated if they do not do something about the problem. families are suffering, raising their grandchildren, on fixed incomes while these druggies get off scott free

Well, if the state of Akansas would drug test the people who are receiving any type of welfare (WIC, EBT, disability, Medicare, medicaid, ARkids, SSI, etc) that would eliminate many of our drug users. Just a thought.

Or...they might move to another state.

Arkids? Seriously? U want to cut kids benefits because their parents use drugs? Not really smart in my opinion as those parents prolly dont care about their kids to start with so u wouldnt be hurting them, just the kids.

No, not for children. There is an ARkids program that covers non-minors of the age of 18 and 19 if they meet a certain criteria. Also, the elderly that receive SSI because they payed in shouldn't be drug tested either. They paid it in. My point, ADULTS on government assistance programs should be drug tested. This would also help with parenting, because failing drug tests can cause parents to loose their children to the state. They will be forced to make wiser decisions. Many of these "dope heads" are not being desirable parents or members of society. These poor children learn by imitation. Everyone needs to pull their weight. Taking from children is never the answer. Since I didn't explain myself, I can see your opinions as well.

Also my opinion, if you want to do drugs...don't reproduce!

sounds really good in theory but remember you're dealing with drug heads. they only care about the next dope they can get not about the children. sad but true.
I agree. If they lost their government assistance, they would resort to stealing and other crimes to get their hands on money and drugs. The state of Kentucky has adopted a law similar to this, but it has come with issues too. I think all states should look into a law similar to this.
You are right, most druggies do not care about their children. Instead of working a job to make a living and providing for their children, they are off finding their next fix. Truly sad! It's become an epidemic, and I feel that the state needs to step in and make it more difficult for them to continue this path of drug abuse.
