Ex-Greenpeacer Patrick Moore questions climate change, challenges liberals
Tuesday, March 4, 2014

As a former Greenpeace insider, Patrick Moore wasn’t surprised by the heated reaction from the left on his explosive testimony about climate change last week before a Senate committee.

Mr. Moore drew headlines for disputing the environmental movement’s doomsday scenario, depicting climate change over the past century as “minor warming” and arguing that “there is no scientific proof that human emissions of carbon dioxide are the dominant cause.”

As a result, Mr. Moore came under fire for “climate denial” from the liberal group Media Matters for America. He has been persona non grata at Greenpeace for years.

Mr. Moore dismisses such criticism as an “ad hominem personal attack that doesn’t have anything to do with the subject at hand.” At the same time, he doesn’t mind taking a swipe at those who advocate drastic emissions reductions in the name of stopping climate change.

“I describe the climate change movement as a combination of an extreme political ideology and a religious cult all rolled into one,” said Mr. Moore.“It’s a very, very dangerous social phenomenon. It causes them to think they have the right to dictate what we do.”

I have to agree with the GOP on ONE thing only: passing bills in parts for real immigration reform. Yet no one has bothered to mention the denial of "tourist birthing" citizenship or "anchor baby" citizenship. Since when do our representatives do their jobs by representing scum from other countries who run drugs, traffic sex slaves, and child labor instead of actual American Citizens? Does anyone else see this as wrong?
Why does our President listen to a bunch of pedophiles from the Vatican on Capitol Hill instead of the victims of those sick crimes the Catholic church covered up? Why not tax these churches and charities getting rid of the whole mess? They siphon money off of a consumerist economy hurting it as a whole and cause more problems (i.e. people depend on charity and opportunity disappears).

Why does every dumb tea bagger who denies basic science and data have to look like Mr. Peanut? The monocle is just too much. Between the fact that you're all old, fat and dying plus Rand Paul's RIDICULOUS hair piece and Rick "oops" Perry's new glasses, it is clearly time to make up with the gay community. You need some style.

This guy is an oil company hack. Not the first hippie to cut his hair for a paycheck 30 years ago.

I rather enjoyed the Republican Party’s two-decade-long descent into wacky, quasi-religious, know-nothing nativism. From Pat Robertson and Pat Buchanan to Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann to Rick Perry and Rick Santorum, let’s be honest—the Party’s recent history has resembled a dark comedy scripted by Aaron Sorkin and designed to insure a Democratic hegemony in the Oval Office. Who knows? If it hadn’t been for the intervention of the Supreme Court in 2000, the G.O.P. could conceivably have lost six Presidential elections in a row, instead of four out of six.
Did somebody mention “compassionate conservatism”? Not that I saw. George W. Bush, who built his Presidential career on that slippery but effective slogan, did descend for a moment from his Texas ranch, and his efforts to help the starving millions in Africa, to express his support for immigration reform. A lot of good that did. Together with the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal, David Brooks, and the army of Chamber of Commerce/Silicon Valley lobbyists who supported the Gang of Eight bill, the former President finds himself isolated from the grassroots of his party, which, on this issue, remains staunchly aligned with Rush Limbaugh and what remains of the Minutemen.
For now, the G.O.P. and many of its tribunes on Capitol Hill appear content to ignore this elemental fact of political life. Maybe things will change during the next few months, but I wouldn’t wager on it. More and more, it’s looking like it will take Hillary Clinton, or another Democrat, succeeding Barack Obama in the White House to bring about real changes in the G.O.P.
To put it another way, the great G.O.P. freak show still has a ways to run. From the point of view of the cynical heckler in the cheap seats, that’s just dandy: extremism and nuttiness makes good copy, and it keeps the Republicans out of the White House. The problem is that, diverting as it is, the show is paralyzing the government and doing great damage to the country
Make no mistake, the GOP freak show is a riot that I can't get enough of. Just think - in two short years we'll have them all on a stage again raising their hands to questions like "how many of you think Jesus will return and cancel out climate change?" Bachman's running. So is Perry. Huckabee's in too. Let's just keep our fingers crossed for Palin to throw her dumbass in the ring too.

Because think about it - one of them will have to go one-on-one with one of the most brilliant geniuses in the history of politics. And Hillary is also a stone-cold bitch who hasn't ever pulled a punch on an idiot. It could get brutal. It will get ugly.

Fun times ahead.

Obamacare has been active for several years now and no one is scheduled or sentenced to die. Hence, there are no death panels.

Everyone knows grandma is still around. After all, she is actually getting her prescriptions at better prices. Hence, grandma was not thrown under the bus.

Everyone knows that Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc. are private companies. Hence there is no government takeover of health care.

Since the inception of Obamacare, the unemployment rate has fallen. More people are gainfully employed. Hence, Obamacare is not a job killer.

The uninsured rate has fallen. Hence, Obamacare does not cause the loss of insurance in the aggregate.

More liberal facts. Sorry.

Illegal immigration is a phantom issue meant to appease the ignorant. Most of them work, pay taxes and raise their families. Only half are Latino. Drug problems in the US are caused by poverty, not people who were born far away. It is an issue requiring attention, but to get up in arms over it while we allow an admitted international war criminal responsible for the mass murder of a million innocent people live in exile in Texas is a bit strange. Priorities. When the US immigration paradigm is overhauled to adequately serve the millions of valuable people from abroad who want to live here, then we can talk about hunting down the guy who mows my lawn.

Obama has made great strides in avoiding religious delusions (although any acknowledgement of magic sky men is a disgrace to reason). He HAS NOT been told by any gods to invade any nations and he beat out a guy who wears special underwear to ward off evil spirits. Sadly, that is progress.

Hillary Clinton campaign got illicit funds from D.C. scandal figure
March 10, 2014
Terry McAuliffe, now Va. governor, was Clinton campaign chairman at time

Despite Hillary Rodham Clinton’s promise that she had scrubbed illegal cash contributions from her 2008 presidential campaign, prosecutors revealed Monday that the mastermind of Mayor Vincent C. Gray’s “shadow campaign” also funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to aid Mrs. Clinton’s bid for the White House.

Jeffrey E. Thompson’s scheme included diverting more than $608,000 in illicit funds to a New York marketing executive, Troy White, who organized “street teams” to raise Mrs. Clinton’s visibility in urban areas during her Democratic primary battle against Barack Obama. Mr. White pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in the case.

Prosecutors said that from February to May 2008, Thompson used two firms to disburse $608,750 in “excessive and unreported contributions to pay for campaign services in coordination with and in support of a federal political candidate for president of the United States and the federal and the candidate’s authorized committee.”

That candidate was Mrs. Clinton.

The GOP will continue to lose, and deserves to continue to lose until such time as it will have finally resolved itself into a genuinely right-wing organization prepared to militate for the restoration of racial segregation, the deportation of all immigrants (legal as well as illegal), who have arrived here since 1965, a vastly expanded application of the death penalty, the end of public education, and all other measures calibrated to transform our demographic into one that is 100% Caucasian, or as close to that as may still be possible.

The continuing admission into our country of millions of sub-standard persons of sub-standard ethnicities, people who wish to avail themselves of an economy that they themselves have been unable to construct in their own countries, will be seen in the future as the greatest catastrophe ever to

have been inflicted on America by her enemies. This racial dilution, much wished for by white liberals who despise their own history, will be said to have been the most psychotic and self-destructive meme in all history, one that succeeded in turning our once-beautiful country into the sort of Gehenna

Together we are all stronger and smarter than any of us are on our own. This is not only the founding principle of why Democracy works (when it works), but is the reason we need to have the Repubs get their house in order - because it is half of our house too.

Only with a strong and sane Republican party can we hope to keep the Demos from going off the rails any farther than they already have. The issues of elections costing tooooo much, which puts all candidates as prostitutes selling themselves to the highest bidder, which then puts them in the position of ignoring the people is the problem. While the Repubs are by far the worst at this moment, Demos are inflicted with the same virus.

We need both parties sane and focused to fix this disfunction before of the people, by the people and for the people permanently transforms into of the $, by the $ and for the $, particularly with Citizens United transforming $ into free speech.

So what can the GOP do? Ditch the religious freaks of course!! All you liberals must understand that it is almost ONLY because of the religious freaks that the GOP keeps losing.

Without those two losers who wouldn't want women to get abortions after being raped, the GOP would control the US Senate now. It was men like me who got sickened by these freaks in Indiana and Missouri and not because it represented a non-existent "war on women" but because the Pro Life movement is filled with freaks who hate premarital sex while not having a clue about sex.

That's the only reason why left wingers run the Senate and the White House.

Romney signed an anti-porn pledge that lost him the young male vote on his first day of campaigning. It's true, however, that most people who stayed home rather than vote for Romney did so because he and Ryan were too stupid to clearly show that the so-called 1% the leftists talk about is really the 53% who qualify to pay income taxes and, therefore, would prefer that the income tax amendment be repealed in favor of some other way to raise taxes. Millions of people who refused to vote in 2012 did so because they didn't believe Romney of Romneycare would dismantle the Obamacare individual mandate tax that will soon be forced on people who don't WANT to buy any health insurance and won't let the government force them to. There's a reason why only a certain type of man chooses to live in Taxachusetts.

What will happen now?

The GOP will take the Senate in 2014 unless they run someone like Santorum or O'Donnell anywhere again.

Sadly, they will probably do that. The Tea Party was hijacked by the religious wackos. It was supposed to be about small government, not "morality".

Either Rand Paul or Cruz could beat Hillary in 2016, unless the religious freaks and neocons refuse to vote for them.

But we might see another establishment candidate like Christy or Rubio forced upon us like Romney was, in which case Hillary will be President in 2016.

We do not need a Democrat for president in 2016.It is time to balance the power.Republicans need to take the Senate, democrats the house and we must elect a republican president.
This is not the right time in history to elect a female president. It is crucial for foreign diplomacy that we elect a strong male leader in our next presidential election. We do not need an extreme tea party attitude running this country right now there are to many critical issues at stake.
Stop thinking about selfish desires and start thinking about America and it's people as a whole. The majority will not vote tea party. The majority will not vote for a female. The majority will not vote democrat.
Lets get down to the facts folks.America wants a no nonsense approach to policy and procedures.America wants the bills paid.America wants our leaders to adhere to the Constitution.America wants their guns.America does not want Obama care.America wants job, manufacturing and education.I hear it every day all day long.Stop the liberal BS.Stop the tea party BS.Think about 100% of the USA all the way and you can become part of the solution, instead of part of the problem.

Feinstein publicly accuses CIA of spying on Senate computers
March 11, 2014

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, escalated a behind-the-scenes dispute with the CIA by publicly accusing the spy agency of secretly searching a Senate computer system, an act she said undermines congressional intelligence oversight and may have violated the law.

The expanding dispute has opened a rift between the CIA and the Senate committee that oversees it and often has defended it. Already, some CIA officers could face criminal prosecution as a result of a Justice Department investigation of the incident.

"I have grave concerns that the CIA search may well have violated the separation of powers principles," Feinstein said on the Senate floor. "I am not taking it lightly."
