this is my 2nd post i was the one from pennsburg.. he use to sell oxies. he got married and within 1 month was talkin to tamra... he stole from me before i told him off. stole from his family who live in quakertown.. he was doin like over 400 mg a day at one point.. like 2 weeks b4 this happened I saw him and he asked me if i wanted to buy plasma tvs or some pearl neckless. He had a bunch of stuff in his car. Don't get me wrong he is a good guy when it comes down to it. I use to trust the guy ya know? But drugs just took him over and now he isnt the person i knew at all
but its easy to point the finger at him but i know many people screwed up on perks and oxies.. alot of people its like the number one drug now with pretty bad side effects its like heroine... they should take it off the market for real

So because a people with addictive personalities get addicted to narcotics, everyone has to suffer?

I, too, have known many people who have taken Oxycodone and Percocet. My mother was given Percocet after a knee injury; she took it for the pain, it helped, the knee didn't heal to this day, but she is no longer taking the Percocet because she is responsible for her well-being. She knows it's addictive, and she and her doctor worked together to stop the meds before she became addicted.

I have an aunt who was given Oxycodone after a knee replacement. Guess what? The meds helped her, and whaddayaknow - she's not addicted, either.

A couple of years ago, I was in the hospital for a month straight with gallbladder and pancreas issues. For pain, I was given Dilaudid (also known as "hospital heroin" because of its efficacy). I was on it for three weeks straight. Guess what? I didn't become addicted, either!

It all boils down to self-responsibility and the care from your doctor. If you don't realize that you're relying on this stuff more and more, if you don't realize that there's a chance you can become addicted, then that's due to your own lack of knowledge about yourself and the drugs given to you.

It's downright stupid to make everyone suffer because you have a few idiots who don't know the drugs they're taking when they first start taking them.

Kuddos to the last 3 blogs for telling it the way it is!
Having pain everyday is a hard thing to deal with but he was abusing the medication. And for that--the people he robbed have lost precious items with memories attached to them that can't be replaced so he could get high!

No sympathy here for him.

Thank you all for entertaining me with this healthy debate about narcotics and the effects they can have on an individual both mentally as well as physiologically. Although some of you have severely misguided notions about my experience your thoughts and feelings are valid and I appreciate them. To those of you who were hurt by my actions I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize. Should anyone wish to discuss anything in private my email address is [email protected] I would be more than happy to speak with you regarding any unresolved issues. Should you chose to contact me however, please be advised I do not have access to the internet on a regular basis and I may not be able to respond in a timely manner. But I shall do my best. Thank you for your time and may God bless you all.

It's a shame people have so many opinions on others without knowing all of the facts. Perhaps we could spend our time doing something more productive, eh? I'm sure the article had all of the facts correct as well. I hope none of you were friends with him and would put his business out there like that. You're all showing your true character. Hopefully, you would never make a mistake yourselves. I'd hate for people to blast you like you blasted him. Seriously, how can you not love a pirate?

I'm not a big fan of these arrogant people who think so highly of themselves that they feel the need to judge others. Addictedtogold, youre my kind of person. Perhaps a looting expedition is in order?
