Given the number and diversity of the gangs and gang members now located in West Reading, it is no surprise that this home invasion was attempted or that the shooting occurred.

Reading has been innundated with these upstanding individuals and groups for many years. In the last many years they have migrated thoughout the entire county. Federal housing vouchers have assisted in this tremendous effort as have rental units with irresponsible landlords.

Additionally gang members have become financially enriched by the drug consuming customers thrughout the county enabling them to purchase their own homes...right next to you...anywhere in the county!

Bloods, Latin Kings, Netas, MS 13, and Trinis are only a few of the gang families who may be celebrating their drug successes next door to you by Christmas. if you do not understand these types of multicultural organizations, research them...they have a fabulous history of violence, guns, drugs, murders, home invasions, burglaries, robberies, rapes, gang initiations, etc.

Unfortunately, the handwriting is on the wall. Bets are in that everyone in Wyomissing simply cannot wait for their chance to battle this type of criminal although they will not be able to win this war. The newly planned casino will attract even more of them from the entire East Coast as gangs love to gamble with money, cards, and lives.

The new Berks County for the past 20 years has certainly become an interestingly dangerous place to live and do business through the ever-touted development. Sadly, it has not been for the improvement or safety of the citizens.
