My stickers are also coming off. I just had my car inspected in March. If they come off, I will just use some clear tape to tact them back on. No way, I'm going to pay 10 bucks for a new stickers that are not my fault. B>S! Anybody that has faulty PA stickers should have them replaced for free.

Isn't that just like the government, change something that has worked fine for years, ahhhh the fast eddy administration, gonna miss the midnight pay raises, the unsustainable budgets, the lies about ending school taxes. Yeah, gonna miss him and his administration, kinda like I'm gonna miss green ham and cold toilet seats...

Yea you pay $10 for new stickers that fall off again in 3 months. What a clever way to get money into the state budget. By the way a missing from windshield sticker is something on the order of $60 fine and 2 or 3 points. Most state police will give you a warning but you will have to get new ones not to get a ticket but the locals are looking for the cash so they ticket right away..........
Oh yea the clear tape if caught is a bigger fine for tampering with state equipment, Yes the state owns the stickers not you.

I noticed this on quite a few and figured the stickers were the problem a few months back. But this is pathetic that the state wont own up to it and replace them for free (considering it will still cost us no matter what) I will just use clear packing tape on mine.

actually it's no points and either a $25 or $75 fine depending how long your inspection has been invalid. no points because it is not a moving violation. see Title 75 section 4703(a) of the PA Vehicle Code.

yeah I have so much money to replace my stickers that the gov't messed up on. My stickers are falling off but i refuse to replace them. they probably did it on purpose to get more money out of people.

I think this article should have been re-written since "faulty" inspection stickers can be interpretted too many different ways, faulty meaning counterfeit which they obviously are not. It's the manufacturer that just printed a bad product the last 2 years because this years batch have been doing the same thing. It would be nice if this could be fwd to every police station so everyone in the state doesn't come in trying to demand new stickers when it's not the shop's fault!

I gotta love the people who somehow found a way to twist peeling inspection stickers into a politcal statement! Yeah, Ed Rendell said "How can we scr*w people a bit more? I got it... let's tell the inspection sticker manuf. to use cheaper glue..then we'll charge $10 to replace them!"

Yup, you got it all figured out! Yay for you!

I mean really! Some things are just what they are... the manufacturer screwed up a batch of glue used for the stickers and it is now just being found out.

The state should pay for those stickers that have to be replaced. Why should the consumer have to flipe the bill for there problume.

Ok. The State should not have to pay for the replacement, but the manufacturer of the stickers should be held accountable. Mine are coming off but I am leaving them the way they are. If I get a ticket, you better believe I will get a lawyer and fight it. The State is aware of the problem that THEY created and want the consumers to pay for a new on. Not going to happen. I know the people that work for the State are not the brightest stars in the sky, but seriously, how stupid can they be to expect the people to pay for something that was faulty in the first place. I see several lawsuits waiting to happen here ..

My sticker has been peeling over the last couple of years, but never fell off.
I figured it was bad glue.

Only the Commonwealth of PA would screw up and expect the PA driver to double pay for PA incompetence.
If the spec was wrong the State should replace, if the manufacturer did not make the stickers to spec he should replace free.
