There are very good reasons for the arrests.
Police deal with multiple crimes and investigations simultaneously.
Drugs are tolerated by the irresponsible dealers, buyers and users in any location in an extremely secretive fashion.
Got it.

You think Korean prostitutes are a more serious problem than Mexican drug dealers.

Got it.

The drug problem is under control, or impossible to solve, so the cops should focus on Korean prostitutes.

Got it.

Against criticism a man can neither protest nor defend himself; he must act in spite of it, and then it will gradually yield to him.

Wrong. Administrators, teachers, and coaches have a moral responsibility to report and investigate suspected drug abuse, not turn a blind eye, just as they have a legal responsibility with respect to suspected child abuse. Coaches, just like teachers, are there to develop responsible adults, not just to "develop strength in sports and physical conditioning."
If you are employed by Reading High, and afraid to confront the drug gangs, find another job.

I refuse to believe that not a single coach or teacher at Reading High knew that this trash was a drug dealer.
Coaches and teachers have an absolute responsibility to provide a safe learning environment for the students, and that includes reporting any suspicion of drug activity. Turning one's back is the same as participating in the crime.

Dream on. Many have my their lifelong drug/dealing/gang free shoes...and proud to be so.

If the truth be told......many of their mothers/fathers/uncles/childre n are (former, future) gang members themselves or they are well aware of their teens' drug dealing. Some have really nice incomes and fully depend on their children to "bring home the bacon" or the drugs for mama to use too. Where do you think the moms think the clothes, sneakers, money and bling come from when they don't have legitimate jobs? Grow up.

Millions would never want to live in the knowledge that they resorted to gang affiliations in high school or that they were dealers/users.

It is called living a lifetime of good character...every day, every year...what we are taught by parents.

Can't unring a bell.
