A grand jury charged Former Republican State House speaker John Perzel and nine others with misusing public resources for political gain. According to Attorney General Tom Corbett and the grand juries findings,$10 million dollars in taxpayer money was spent to help win political campaigns. This has been an ongoing probe that charges that taxpayer money was used to purchase voter data, computer software, and survices to benefit state House GOP camapign efforts.
