Federal law will mean higher health-insurance rates for many in Mass.

Full story: Lowell Sun 50
Massachusetts' landmark 2006 health-care law required the state to offer limited-benefit plans for young adults on its insurance exchange, but those plans will be eliminated in 2014 because of the new federal health-care reform law, The Sun has learned. Full Story

This is not the same Roger Anderson you think it is,
This is someone making fun of him,
Not that I agree with the real Roger Anderson.
But this guy is a troll,
I like this one better, the real one is hopefully getting the help he needs.

You know, you might be onto something. You know what else is deducted from my paycheek every other week? I'll give you 3 guesses, and the first 2 don't count. Yes. you geussed correctly! That's right. I contribute a lot of my hard earned money for 2 occupations, one of them illegal and unjustified. I didn't want those wars. I called my representatives on a daily basis to express my opposition. I also make an annual contribution to the militarization of Isreal that strengthens their ability to occupy territiories unlawfully gained during war. Cuts both ways you see. You're in the minority. As such, things don't always work out the way you'd like them to. Learn how to take the good with the bad. For example, yes, you're paying a lot for something you don't need. But, someday, someone you love, maybe even yourself, will need that health care.
The difference is, we knew who would be paying for those wars, with Obama care we were told over and over it wouldn't cost us more. unfortunately some people believed Obama, but a lot knew he was full of crap.

Fair enough. But, I still opposed those wars, told my elected representatives as much, and they still voted in favor of it. All I'm trying to say is that we all pay for things we'd prefer not to. That is the unfortunate consequence of a representative republic. And frankly, I'd rather my tax dollars are used to keep people alive and healthy, as opposed to tortured or killed. Guess it just depends on how we look at things. Good old fashioned guns v. butter quandry.

My health insurance went up by $400.00 a month, with a higher deductable and now they are going to tax our healh insurance payments. Who out there voted for Patrick - Thanks for making Massachusetts the most expensive state to live in. You must have been blind and deaf to vote for Patrick. I would be better off to sell my house, go get welfare and a nice medicaid CREDIT card, clothing allowance every September of $300.00 for each child. HUM, sounds good to me. Maybe disability - I could pull that off easy - I hear voices - HUM.

Too bad they did not have that Epiphany prior to the election.

I voted for Patrick and am neither blind nor deaf. And if you think you'd be better of going on welfare, feel free. Nice to see the conservatives lowering the bar for themselves.

Right when Obama said he was going to provide coverage for 34 million more people AND save $1 trillion dollars I knew something was up. Funny, everyone knows the saying "If it sounds too good to be true..." but they let this con-man bamboozle them - again.

I thought Pelosi was a national hero for taking on health care reform and pushing it through Congress. But, I never thought my health insurance rates would go up.
haha, why? this didn't reform anything and was never supposed to. just another gift to the insurance companies. they're all crooks and they'll all be in charge until it's too late.

Hope all you Lowellelians realize Nikki's been living in Charlestown and also maintains a lovely home on the Cape Cod for many years. She just rents a little apartment in Lowell and doesn't live there. So all you senior citizens that got a visit from her and she didn't answer any of your questions on the health care bill now know. She was late trying to avoid traffic on her ride home to Charlestown.
