I have been involved in two multi-level marketing businesses and never made a dime. Worked my rear end off traveling all over the country to do meetings and show the products. Spent, spent, spent, but never reaped the rewards. I've had friends in other ones and they never made a dime either. This juice is just overpriced juice, you can get the same benefits from the right juice off the supermarket shelf or a natural food store. I know a older couple in town who have been involved in every scheme coming and going. They ended up losing just about everything and still believe that one is going to hit the bank for them. I will never be involved in another one, learned my lesson after two.

Are MLM companies basically glorified pyramid schemes? That's so sad that these "companies" can get away with taking advantage of people.

To everyone who is working for Zija or interested in it, please know this: Zija is a scam. I am sick and tired of seeing people talking about what a "great opportunity" it is. They are lying.
I currently live in Louisville, so you would probably assume that Zija is popular here. WRONG. I have literally seen ONE person promoting it; Zija is not as prevalent here as it is in smaller Kentucky towns. Personally, I think Zija promotes themselves in small, rural towns because they think most Kentuckians are stupid hillbillies.
I am ashamed to say that my well-informed, educated parents fell for this crap. They have been with Zija for almost two years and have yet to break even. However, since a friend-of-a-friend-of-a friend of theirs is supposedly making money from it, they continue to waste $100+ every month.
For those of you who are already participating, good luck. I sincerely hope you can make money from this. If you are considering signing up with Zija, please, PLEASE walk away.

JUST A REMINDER!!!! If it sounds too good to be true, Guess what? It is!!!!!! Rarely does anyone get rich by selling another person's idea, Unless you are a "slick" car salesperson....It would be my wish that all scams would go away...but again, not gonna happen...

@Walk This Way- I hope you continue making money. I would hate to see anyone lose money like my parents, especially someone who didn't have the money to risk in the first place.

@My Opinion- I'm sorry to hear about your awful experiences. The story about the old couple is heartbreaking, but I fear my parents will be in the same boat. They fall for these get-rich-quick schemes all too often. My parents are wonderful people, but completely stupid when it comes to money.

ok you guys, don't suppose you ever had a job where you started at the bottom of the pay scale? as far as makeing money in zija that's how it works. the more you work the more you get compensated. it does work. but if you are healther and feel better what does it matter? im not expecting to get rich quick but my wife has been able to be taken off some of her meds by her dr. who requested some for her own use. that means i've saved a little money. o and by the way, you are supposed to follow a program if you use these products.

BINGO! If you followed the same program (diet and excercise) without the juice, you could be taken off medication then. The juice is a scam and everybody knows it. I have cut out fast food at lunch, cut my portions at dinner, started to exercise and I will get the same results without scamming people. Believe what you want, I have been there, done that and will never do it again.

Everybody starts at the bottom pay with a new job, BUT that job does not require you to spend your money to make money. Like I said, I spent way more than I ever made and then when the fad is over you get stuck with a product that noone will buy. When this thing went around the first time, a friend of mine literally dumped several cases out in a field because there was noone to buy from her anymore. She also did the Tastefully Simple thing too and lost her butt. Doing cooking shows every night and weekend for what ended up to be nothing.

everyone can think what they want. diet and exercise was not mentioned, but would help. you can sit on your couch and not change a thing if you so chose and get good results. results do varie as does anything. if you have tried it with no results maybe you are one in a very very few that hasnt had something for the better. in my experence noone asks you for money, but rather presents a program to you and you chose what you want to do.

Pyramid

This is no different than any other product sold. In avon, suebee, and most products that are sold through distributing, these are all pyramid type sells.
The ones starting in and on the ground floor gets sells commissions from the ones that got on the band wagon later. No matter how high the pyramid gets, the peek profits always goes to the top.
When you see those profits they claim, they're not lieing, but for you to see those types, the sales under you would have to go global. Even than, you'll never see profits like the ones starting it, because you're lower on the pyramid.
If you got into this when it first started, you would be rich. When it's at its peak though, you'll never see much profit, as thousands of dealers are above you in the pyramid.
Lesson: Either get in on ground floor, or stay away from these types of sales.
Good Luck!

Ziga products are about the same as eating spinach and having a Redbull -- you can get equivalent things in health food stores. No need to spend that much money. It won't hurt you but it won't help that much either. There are a lot of people selling it that don't look any healither or thinner to me.....

I did my own research in Zija and, according to one article (obviously not produced by the company) said that Zija was initially sold in stores, but failed miserably. As some of you have mentioned, consumers could not see what made Zija different from any other health drink. Shortly thereafter, Zija turned into a MLM company.

Now the higher-ups at Zija will tell you that it's not sold in stores because they "don't want the store to reap profits" or "don't want to increase the price of the drink". Complete
bullshit. Again, it is amazing what they will say to side-step legit concerns.

Water, good diet & exercise will accomplish what a person needs for health. Every Doctor and health food professional that I've talked to (including local health folks) agree that it's just another money making scam.

Of course there are ones making over $150,000 a year. It takes the suckers under them selling the crap out of it. Those on top of the pyramid are getting rich, while the lower levels are doing all the work. It's a scam, used for years by alot of companies, and still alive and well today.
Don't worry, the smart ones aren't buying it, but it's ashame to take some of these old people and use them the way you all are. Those people really believe what you say. You should be ashamed of yourself. You can justify anything, but you know those people will never reach your revenues, as it would have to go global to reach those amounts in sales
