So the sheriff hires people that are not from Richland parish to go straight to the streets, and looks over the others from in-house. What makes it so bad is the new person has no plans to move in the parish.
Not suprised

You people obviously have nothing to do but bitch about every single thing you see. Nobody said crap about it when there were guys working for Sheriff McDonald that were from Franklin and Morehouse.

When I said in house, I meant people that already work for the S.O that want to go on the streets...

Yeah I'm pretty sure you said "out of parish". Why don't you organize your thoughts and get back with us.

What deputies worked for Sheriff McDonald were from Franklin and Morehouse. I can't think of any road deputies that were from outside the parish.

Yes... I said new deputy from out of parish while looking over others from in house...! Why don't you find a brain and get back with us. Also, get some facts straight too.

There is at least one now, that is starting this month. And said new hire lacks a high school diploma. Way to keep the standards up.

You all need to find something to do besides bash the Sheriff about things on here. Charles McDonald did plenty of crap that didn't appease everyone, as does anybody in public office. Either get behind the man and support him or shut up about it.

Have you ever heard of this thing called the 1st? So why are you telling others to either support someone or shut up? Are you one of those rights violating liberal nazis? You sound like a hitler and Obama supporter with your "either follow, or lay down." Attitude.

I agree. No matter who is in office, there will always be some people who want to bad-mouth them. Your guy lost. There ain't a thing in this world you can do about it. Nothing.

Franklinite didn't mean glue your lips shut. When he said "get behind the man...or shut up about it," he wasn't trampling on your first amendment rights. He was being polite. I believe what he was too polite to say was: "Quit your bitching dude!"

Thank you, and I am not a nazi or Obama type, exactly the opposite. What I meant was people to need either get behind him, or not bad mouth him. That's what they make a voting booth for. I do not like everything politicians do, and when I feel I can't anymore from them I vote for the other guy, not get on a forum and bash the man with a username that hides my real thoughts. Anyone that knows me knows I won't say a thing on a here I wouldn't say to his or her face in town.

We saw the Sheriff at a ballgame. He was very friendly but quiet and was attentive to his family present. We are satisfied with his performance as Sheriff!

Well, how amazing since his oldest child started Kindergarten there in probably 1994 or 1995; I'm sure he was strategizing his 2012 run for RPSO way back then! Way to go, Lee! Wanting your children to get a great education is a definite positive attribute! I also seem to remember that he has been a long-time member of Mangham Baptist Church--another great political move! Ha, we'd better check and see where his child plans to go to college--I'm sure that 'funny' will have some intelligent comment to make about that, also!
Oh, I did see and speak to Mr. Gary Gilley last week. Now, there's an underhanded political move--Mr. Gilley being seen in public..........funnnnnnnnny

Someone needs to ask a MBC member when was the last time the sheriff and his family attended church there? Looks like those good people got used. Everyone knows Mangham block votes. Its always been said if you could divide Mangham and carry either Rayville or Delhi, you can win any election.
