How about the infamous police jurors and the all-knowing board members? They chose to keep him on the payroll after several other incidences...after removing him from clinic, they placed him in the HOSPITAL as the Hospitalist. Way to go Rayville! That just shows who is running things...and..they turn a blind eye to the welfare of this community. Talk about giving Richland Parish a bad name!!!

He can spend 37 years in jail. He has lost his license. Drugs are not worth a life and career down the toilet.

The Police Jury are responsible for appointing the B.O.D. at the hospital, but their involvement ends there. The C.E.O. doesn't even have control of the board. The board doesn't have control of the oldest board members. It's all about politics, just as it is in every city in the world. I wonder how many doctors knew about Dr. LeFleur's "habit" and tried to hide it? We'll never know.

LaFleur is still up and running-writing prescriptions fast and furiously. This is according to some of his patients who have been treated by him in the past week. I'm not sure if he still practicing at the hospital. Need to hear from some of the employees from the hospital. JUDY GREEN surely hit the nail on the head about the doctors covering for one another! and all this time patient care is being done. Shame. Shame. Shame. When will the hammer fall on those who turned their head the other way?

The doc has not lost his license, according to the La State Board of Medicine. Its public knowledge, anyone can check it out on their website. He has not been treating patients at the hospital nor at any of their clinics. Its always been about politics and who you know. Half the employees are related. If you arent happy with the way things are, talk to your policy jury person about changing their represenative on the hospital board. The community needs that hospital. We need to be able to have good quality care and keep the cost in check. Its hard to find physicians that want to come to rural Louisiana with the medicare (and welfare) payment being so low. Now Rayville has lost another physician to Monroe (Dr.Parnarski). Everyone needs to stop playing politics and keep that place open. Also heard a rumor that one of the administrators friends from Ouachita parish was hired as some type of supervisor over nurses when shes only had a nursing license about 5 months. Those new jobs has to be posted to see if in house employees wanted to transfer in.
