yeah, cry me a river, they have almost 2 years to find new jobs. I wonder how many thousands of dogs will suffer in that time?

Did you really believe that they ever cared about these dogs? It's really sad for the dogs that there are still a few states allowing this disgrace of an industry but believe me, their days (dog tracks) are numbered in this country.

I think that the people of Mass. should all step up- and adopt some of these wonderful dogs! All of the Greyhound adoption agencies are trying to figure out what we are going to do with all these dogs. If these dogs do not get adopted- they will be eventually placed in kill shelters, and then are the dogs really better off?
ADOPT A GREYHOUND!!!!

There is a waiting list to adopt these dogs. But you don't really expect their owners to let these dogs go to loving homes when there is still money to be made off of their backs, do you? Nope..........they'll be moving the dogs to one of the other (pathetic) few states that still allow this low-rent 'sport'.
