As an educational leader, I applaud the district. Not only have they done the necessary efforts to improve our environment, decreased their costs without impacting the instructional budget, but they are role models for demonstrating real-world efforts for the students, their families and the community. GREAT job walking the talk!

Going green to save green?

Bu ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah.

That's tant amount to thinking you tax your economy into prosperity and borrowing your way out of debt.

How's that silliness working out in the Gay state?

Francine, I completely agree. I think this article was very exciting and inspiring. I actually do social networking to spread the news about GreenQuest - the tool that Littleton is offering. I noticed that there is no link to use GreenQuest in this article - but if anyone is interested, go to to use this free tool.

GreenQuest is a personal Web-based energy dashboard that enables individuals to track the energy for their home or business for free. This might sound like other applications like Microsoft Hohm, but GreenQuest is decidedly unique. For one, the expertise behind GreenQuest is Good Steward Software, the same team that publishes EnergyCAP, which has been the best-selling energy efficiency software for 30 years.

Simply put, GreenQuest was designed by energy experts who know how to deliver the right energy information in the right format. GreenQuest includes valuable energy benchmarks, carbon footprint, weather analysis, performance charts, project tracking...even a free ENERGY STAR interface so business owners can receive an ENERGY STAR building energy rating.

Organizations, like Littleton Schools, sponsor a custom-branded GreenQuest web site for their community, customers, students, or employees as a free service. Learn more about sponsoring and GreenQuest at

I couldn't agree more. Green is just the latest trendy thing celebrities and other liberal fools get behind. They got bored with Kaballah, adopting black babies and other foolishness only to move onto this.
Every self serving beautiful person who promotes this stuff rides in big limos and owns private jets.
Ever see the chart comparing how energy is handled in homes owned by Al Nutjob Gore and George Bush? The Bush home is 19 times more energy efficient.
Do as they say and not as they do.
