We purchased a dog from Debbies Pet Land and it has been a 6 month nightmare !
The dog has been diagnosed with disorders and hereditory diseases, and they refuse help us. Any time you purchase a dog from a reputable breeder, you have a guarantee, and almost all reputable breeders want their dogs back if they indeed have hereditory disorders or deseases.
Something to keep in mind this year as we approach Christmas. I was told that they have a chain of stores and that most recently the one in Hyannis and Braintree were closed down for some violations of sorts.
We love our dog, but the vet bills are putting us into the poor house. MRI's are $3,000.00, and the hip operation is also costly. We still dont have the AKC papers for her ( usually takes3 months ) Debbies Pet Land says they cant find the papers, and the ID chip that she supposed to have, the Vet's we have taken her to, cannot find it !!!!
Word to the wise, dont buy from PET SHOPS ! Find a good local Breeder!

I visited this store and there was a sick bichon frise who most likely has kennel cough and various other ailments. If anyone from MSPCA is reading this please go to the store because this puppy is still there and is suffering. It had a overly dry nose and was sitting in it's own feces. THIS WAS POSTED ON 1/11/07
PLEASE HELP THIS PUP!!!!!!

debbie's pet land is NOT a good place to buy any kind of pets!!! i've been there a few times and there are always abused, sick dogs. my advice: find a breeder and/or go 2 either Petco or Petsmart. debbie's pet land needs to shut down....everywhere they are!

I bought a dog from Debbie's in Taunton. They charged me $200 to bring him back because he didn't work out in my home with the kids. They said they could only take cash too, which I thought was strange. Main office was not so friendly to deal with. I don't recommend them.
