If you mean, a vast improvement over Reagan and W. Bush, I guess he would look like the second, third and fourth coming.
You two are too dense to understand that you as taxpayers are the Gov't. What you should be afraid of is a Corporate takeover of the taxpayer run Gov't.
Again, do your research on ALEC. They gave B. Jindal an award. Based on what he has done here in LA, trying to turn everything over to FOR PROFIT, makes sense to me.
His commercial says that the Feds are trying to take over education in LA, but rather only want the man to follow the law.
He said he wants to stop Obamacare; what he really wants is to give control of healthcare back to the insurance cos. and global corporate. Again, when was the last time you voted for a Board of Directors or hired the Pres, VP...?
Do you really want to give up the hard fought/won PATIENT PROTECTION Rights? That is what the GOP (who represent the 1%) want you to do. They do not want another year to go by and have to give back premiums which will mean they have to LOWER premiums in the future.
Healthcare through people's lives mean lower Medicare costs which means a secure Medicare with lower premiums. That is what they are so against. Remember Paul Ryan?????? Want to go back there?
Why, yes. Yes I do.

You are just not smart enough to realize that the For Profit Insurance industry is too! Premiums collected from people and put in a pot. Not everyone pays the same amount nor pulls the same out. A lot of money goes to people NOT in the medical field (ins. execs).
Wouldn't you rather more money go to medical treatment rather than bonuses, commissions and perks for insurance execs (these execs pull compensation in the millions per year - for what?)? Don't you understand that if we take out the middle man (ins. execs), YOUR PREMIUMS would go down, your benefits would go up and Medicare would be secure for the future? The GOP does NOT want you to connect the dots!
I would. I guess that makes me a socialist? I am a very social person.
The government does the same thing...and YOU are the smart one? LMAO

As usual, your posts does NOT make sense and your sidekick agrees with you. Dumb and Dumber. Heard you have a new movie, true?

Huge salaries/perks, over priced healthcare and a lot of sick people making claims is what causes your premiums to go up to a point of NOT being able to afford healthcare insurance. Just think about it, if it is delayed a year, the premiums WILL NOT GO DOWN. They would have screwed you over yet again. Just like when gas prices went down, the price of food and other goods did NOT! Haven't you learned yet?

Obamacare, even though not perfect, addresses these issues and the GOP knows it. That is why they want to get rid of it before next year; rather they want it delayed (they don't want you to see what would really happen after a full year in force). When it works, their fight to end Medicare, as we know it, will be over too!

There was a Repub woman on CBS this a.m. carrying on about wanting it delayed so they can work on it, Where the hell has she been? It has been three years. Why didn't they work on the fixes over this time? She was working for the corporations that pay her campaigns.

She said that the American people want it defunded and she listens to the people; BS. 90% of Americans wanted the "Universal Background Check" and the Repubs voted with Corporations then as now. Don't worry, they cut her down using her own exaggerated claims. It was kinda sad really! Just like Ted Cruz, she had NOTHING!

Fix Obamacare, Affordable Care Act, and preserve Patients Rights or LOSE THEM along with Medicare! Your choice. Keep in mind, you are not just voting for yourself now, but for your retired self and the future generations.

Liberal mindset, liberal dogma, liberal bullsh*t, they're one in the same. O'care is very invasive and prying. Our medical history will be broadcast over the internet, and yes, it can be hacked. So now when we see a doctor, some of the questions we're going to be asked will include: Are you sexually active? If so, with one partner, multiple partners or same-sex partners?
Last time I saw my Dr., their office was "updating records", so these questions were actually part of the new records. I didn't answer them. Despite the fact that I've been married for quite some time and have only been with my husband, it's really insulting and frightening to think we'll now be required to air our private lives over the internet.
Be ready to answer those questions and more the next time you go to the doctor, whether it’s the dermatologist or the cardiologist and no matter if the questions are unrelated to why you’re seeking medical help.
The president’s “reforms” aim to turn doctors into government agents, pressuring them financially to ask questions they consider inappropriate and unnecessary, and to violate their Hippocratic Oath to keep patients’ records confidential.
Doctors and hospitals who don’t comply with the federal government’s electronic-health-records requirements forgo incentive payments now; starting in 2015, they’ll face financial penalties from Medicare and Medicaid. The Department of Health and Human Services has already paid out over $12.7 billion for these incentives.
Where are the women’s rights groups that went to the barricades in the 1980s and 1990s to prevent the federal government from accessing a woman’s health records? Hypocritically, they are silent now.
Patients need to defend their own privacy by refusing to answer the intrusive social-history questions. If you need to confide something pertaining to your treatment, ask your doctor about keeping two sets of books so that your secret stays in the office. Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath seriously and won’t be offended.

Oh, and then there's this. Itemized medical deductions will change from 7.5% of AGI, to 10%! That is outrageous! How will anyone ever use medical deductions again? Disaster...

That's how they roll. Do it my way(gov) or your funding is cut off! Our freedoms are eroding day by day and liberals are just, too damned ignorant to see it. They yammer about for profit insurance co.s all the time. Who in the bloody hell do they think they'll be paying their premiums to...the freaking tooth fairy?

People coming together for a cause is "socialism".

Again, Insurance is "socialistic" by nature. There are NO PRODUCTS; only collection of premiums (enrollment) and paying claims. Premiums are invested to earn more money (to keep premiums affordable) but instead were being paid the top management in the form of millions in compensation. NO ONE should make huge commissions/bonuses for just doing their jobs (do you?). If they want to make millions of dollars in salary/perks, go into the luxury business or go on WallStreet. That would be Insurance Reform; taking back the process and returning it to what it was at the beginning and should have stayed!

Gov't (taxpayers) would collect the premiums and process the claims while overseeing the healthcare system (they can't or won't police themselves - just look at all those class action lawsuits). FOR PROFIT does the same only they are looking out for profits not patients/policyholders!

The US has the highest healthcare costs of industrialized nations, but does NOT have the highest rate of people living longer healthy. Because of the high costs, a lot of people, more and more each day, cannot afford the treatment/care.

I think you finally understand what the GOP is after in Washington. Get rid of Patient Protections, while keeping the recent premium increases and new taxes (just look at their budget - they kept the tax part of Obamacare). For once, do your research. Become informed!

I have done my homework and I have admitted to your repeated rants about how insurance companies are not operating to the benefit of the consumer. However, what's been FORCED upon "we the people", is gov't takeover of our health care. If you read the following (which I'm reposting) you will see that we need insurance reform. And yes, I'd rather continue on the same old path we're on, paying out huge bonuses, instead of the invasive actions of YOUR president and his plan!!! And I dare you to explain this away. You simply cannot do it. There is NO valid excuse for what's going to happen to us. We will be taxed to death and then as death looms just above our overtaxed heads, we won't be able to see a doctor! Other than this woman's piece in the NY Post, I didn't find another article with the same info. This is really disturbing.

Can anyone find a legit website that backs up what this woman put in her article?

If it sounds CRAZY, it is probably coming from a GOP website.

A man once called Liberals ‘pseudo idealists’ to describe those drawn to causes not to genuinely do good, but so they can feel good about themselves. They delude themselves that they hold the ‘moral high ground’ when the opposite is true.”
The psychology of liberalism is tangled – it presents a compassionate, selfless front, but is actually completely selfish. It is critical to understand this in order to withstand its advance. However even armed with this understanding, attempts to withstand it will be swamped if the levels of those needing the relief of pseudo idealism just keep rising. But people like Curious will not be able to grasp this concept. She's too busy rescuing the world and feeling good about herself to get it. Obamacare would have been a fine idea if "we the people" had been given the option of "opting out". But instead we've had a law imposed upon us. Not for protection from some crime or wrong doing,(although liberals perceive it as such) but for the sole purpose of controlling us and creating a level playing field. We are no longer a free nation, a free people. We've just been bought into slavery by a president and his entire party. What didn't he learn from past history? Obviously being born and raised outside the U.S. has had quite an impact on this president.
