I seen this story about Patti Adkins on ID. I do not agree with Julie, Patti was not a whore, she seemed in the story like a nice person. Patti should not have been with a married man and her family expresses those feelings. Her family seemed like very nice sincere people. I think Patti was extremely gullible for believing this pitiful excuse for a human being, Brian Flowers. Why didn't the police ask him were he was from 12 pm to 2:30 am? Gosh it seems like a no brainer after proving Patti (or her cat, yeah right) was in the back of the pick-up. I just pray that they find evidence to put this guy to death or away for the rest of his life. His wife should be ashamed of herself for protecting him. She is as despicable as he is. No one is going to tell me that she didn't KNOW as soon as the police came to their house, as no man is going to come into $90,000 over a year and the wife is not going to wonder were it came from especially after what was told to her about Patti giving it to him. She would have connected the dots right then... an aha moment so to speak. She seems like one of those desperate females who will stand by her man no matter what. She'll compromise her moral compass (if she has one) rather than be without her husband. How pathetic is that. I pray they both pay the price for what Brian Flowers did to Patti Adkins.

DEATH what kind of person are you? No one deserves to die no matter what kind of person they are.

Has people not looked at this story and been able to tell that it is suppose to make her look like she was this wonderful person, who had never done anything wrong. HER FAMILY is the ones who done this...If it were you, would you make your daughter look like a slut?

Anybody know where Brian Flowers and his wife are? There's a T. Brian Flowers on Facebook, is that him? I just cannot believe that this a****** got away with this and that Patti was so stupid! If I were her family I'd track that boy down and torture his ass till he confessed.

Wow, I'd say someone with such a vehement attitude toward a murder victim must be the wife of the accused killer! How can you talk bad of the dead while defending a scum bag? Karma will be a bitch for you!

I hope they get this guy eventually...BUT how gullible was this girl. She dates a married man, and no one can know about the relationship, no one can know about all this money she's lending him with no paper trail, and right when he is suppose to start paying her money back they are going to go on a trip in the middle of nowhere and you don't need to pack or bring anything, your cell won't work there, and oh by the way get in the back of my newly covered truck at midnight when you get off work. I feel for her sisters after watching the story, but they should have been much harder on her & seen the signs being they were detatched from him & should be able to see the big picture without tainted love. The hard lesson learned here, is go off on your loved ones & tell them how stupid they are & it may save a life. They should have met the guy at Honda & told him they were on to him & hired a private investigator. He then would have probably backed off. Anyone that wants a "relationship" but doesn't want anyone to know has only bad intentions.

Brian Flowers and his wife will get to live the rest of their lives always looking over their shoulders. The technology is coming... He's going to go to jail. She gave him money, he used her, and when she started making demands... he got rid of her. She was sleeping with a married man, and she bought the stupid line that he would leave his wife. Sure, she's a whore and an adulteress. But the penalty in this country for being an adulteress and a whore is not death. Not in THIS country.
But the penalty for murder can, and likely will, involve death for Brian Flowers.
And even if he escapes justice in this life, he wil not escape it in the next. And his wife will have this on her head as well. I hope his wife realizes that now that he's gotten away with it once... how easy would it be to make HER disappear if he considers her a loose end? He's already cheated on her at least once, for a long period of time. What if he falls in love with the next mistress, and having a divorce isn't convenient? Mrs. Flowers could end up going "missing" as well.
Justice comes eventually. One way or the other.
Just because she believed a married scum bag that said he was going to leave his wife does not make her a whore. She was a very hard working young woman who saved her money and took care of her child.

If you are going to call anyone names, Julie, you might call these men what they are. Daddy is not around and probably isn't paying child support and doesn't care about his daughter and the piece of scum that took her for 90k and the idiot woman who defends him are the real trash. Patti is guilty of being naive and trusting. For that she got the death penalty.

How do we teach our daughters that there are many, many dangerous men out there without making them hate all men? I am sick of seeing innocent women and children slaughtered by the male population.

It seems Patti was very inteligent, hard working woman with poor judgement of men, and a strong sexual appitite that got her killed.

I am sorry to the Adkins Family, may your sister, daughter, mother rest in peace. It is obvious Brian Flowers committed this crime. She was secretly dating him for 2 years, he saw how gullible and lonely she was and said all the right things to get money out of her. Fed her what she needed to hear, put a little loving in her to keep her in his pocket and keep her at distance at work. She's probably not the only woman he was scamming. She gave up a lot, in cash, he got what 50-80 thousand over 2 years? she took money from her retirement, savings, paychecks leaving no trace to him; falsely believing she was buying a future life with him. He bought a top for a work truck that was not his, dug a hole, either an hour away in the woods, or under an open foundation to be filled with concrete days before, drove a co-worker home as usual, stopped for fast food, to establish his alibi, and drove straight to the site with her laying in that truckbed. She had no chance. He left no trace. His wife was spending that money too. She ain't saying nothing. These two have no conscious, they never will.

I would like to know why the married boyfriend's name was never mentioned in the story aired on Disappeared February 19, 2011. He is most likely the culprit and the only suspect portrayed. Most other shows at least give the suspect's name, if not his picture also. Why in the world is he so special??? It makes me sick. I hope they bring him to justice soon.

Thanks, I see the scum's name was mentioned in the posts on this board. I was just wondering so I can pray to God that he will be brought to justice and soon. This woman didn't deserve to die for loving someone like this scumbag who didn't deserve her love or his wife's either for that matter. All he was after was money and some extra action on the side. He never intended to marry her. I think he planned her murder when she wanted her money to be repaid.

Thepatsy... I think if we teach our daughters not to mess with married men, teach them that a good man doesn't ask a woman for money, teach them to have morals, self respect, and pride... Then we won't teach them to hate men. I married an amazing man who our daughter watches treat Mommy like a princess. Between moral training and a good example at home... Daughters will be all right. It's when that's lacking that one is doomed to think that an idiot like Flowers is any sort of catch.

Why not make a TV show like that!
Because that's not illegal, murder is. If he did it, he'll get busted eventually. I am sure they are watching :)

Based on the facts as presented, it's almost certain that this guy scammed Adkins into giving him a lot of money--cash--and then offed her. He gave her some story about going to Canada--don't bring any clothes or luggage? yea right--and then surely got rid of her. There is no other explanation--and the fact that there was blood and her cat's hair on the tonneau cover proves she was in the truck. Plus, there are the money withdrawals, and statements from her friends that she gave the money to this dude. He needs to be prosecuted--justice needs to be done.

He needs to confess its so obvious he done it. I hope he's still not working at Honda. I hope they fired him. All eyes are on him need flyers up about him being main suspect make sure him and the wife see it. I believe pressures from the public will get one of them to crack.
