Barrington crash probe continues

Article Date: Monday, April 9, 2007
BARRINGTON — Police Chief Richard Conway said the investigation of a two-vehicle crash on Route 125 last month remains open because one of the drivers is still recovering in the hospital.

Conway added he still needs to interview Linda Newhall, 52, of Nottingham who was driving a dark green Lincoln that collided with a Christmas Dove van near TD Banknorth on March 9.

Newhall and her passenger, Nathan Witham, 47, also of Nottingham were rushed to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital after rescue workers extricated them from Newhall's vehicle.

Police have said Newhall was unconscious at the time of the accident, while Witham was conscious but also injured.

A preliminary investigation by police indicates Newhall was traveling north in her Lincoln on Route 125 when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck the van, traveling in the opposite lane.

The van's driver, Garth Svenson, 32, of Barrington was uninjured.

The Strafford County Technical Accident Reconstruction Team was called from Rochester to assist with the investigation.

If you were really there then you know that the milk driver was not speeding and that he had to turn right to avoid the pick=up truck that was on his side of the road. that is what caused the weight to shift and the roll over. As the trailer rolled it caused the tires to lose air pressure and that the spring and brake issues were an affect of the roll over. You would also know that the axle was up because the weight load did not warrant it being down. So if you were really there, then maybe you need to really remember what happened!

Perhaps you should take a good long look at the accident report, which I have in my possession, and you should get, and read, before you spout off any additional false information. Your information is erroneous IN ITS ENTIRETY. And yes, I was there. And yes, I really remember EXACTLY what happened. What exactly is your interest in this? I hope that you will check the facts, perhaps with the Police Department, Nottingham and/or State, and take the word of witnesses before you pass anymore judgment or accusatory information on to the general public. Tell me, where YOU there? Where do you get your information?

And if you were really "educated" you would not be spreading misinformation that could negatively affect an already grieving family.

I also have a complete accident report and I have had several experts review the report and there are many questions and inconsistencies. I have met with the NH State police and also contacted the other departments that were supposedly involved and they are unwilling to give any answers. Which I find very interesting. What are they trying to hide. There are things stated in the accident report that didn't happen, like Strafford County TAR team doing the reconstruction. Imagine that! I am the grieving family as it was my husband that was killed in the accident. His side is the side that is missing, but not for me because I have spoken to my husband and have his side of the story. The truth always comes out and will come out sooner or later!

So you can talk to dead people? That must be a wondeful gift to have, I wish I could as well. However, in this case, it is the living who have the facts on this accident. I hope you are not feeding this fantasy crap to your children. I would think they have enough to endure.

As a matter of fact there are many people who can talk to the spirits of loved ones that have passed over. Fortunately I have a great psychic who is very popular maybe you have heard of him "John Edward". If you haven't maybe you should watch WETV and see his show "Crossing over". There is no fantacy to what my husband told me. I know my husband better than anyone else and for a psychic to tell me the details of what happened and not know anything about me or him is truly amazing. The people who don't believe in the connection with the spirit world usually have something to hide. The living are usually the people that are living in the fantacy world and are hiding the truth, as once you cross over there is no more lying, killing everything is truthfull and lives! Are you getting nervous about the truth coming out?????(Imagine that!)

What I do or do not tell my children is none of your business!

<quoted text>
First of all, I would like to say that I did not mean any disrespect, or to upset you, or anyone else. Nor did I mean to imply that I do not believe in psychic abilities, connections to deceased loved ones, etc. In fact I wish with all of my heart and soul that I could communicate with my fiance, or even more, my mother. Anyway, I meant no disrespect, and I only ask that I am not treated with any. This is a horrific tragedy for all involved, and never would I make light of it. I too lost a loved one in a motor vehicle accident, and understand more than you probably realize, the roller coaster ride of emotions, unanswered questions, what-ifs, blame, anger, unbearable sadness, and anything else that one goes through. I can't imagine how you have endured this loss with two small children. My heart bleeds for you, and I pray for you and your family every night, simply for peace and comfort, as I am aware that there is nothing else God or any other being can offer you that would help.
That said, and with all due respect, I must tell you that I was involved in the accident. I was the passenger in the pick-up truck. There is no cover up going on. It is what it is. It is horrible, unbearable. It has taken our lives from us for the past 9 months as well. Not any where near the way you have been affected, but still in a very huge way. All that can be said is that it was an accident. Everyone is sorry it happened. Everyone wishes for a re-do of that morning. It was not your husband's fault. It was not MY husband's fault. If any blame must be placed, it falls entirely on Bouchey, as their truck was not fit for the road, and they stole the life of your husband, and did a big number on all of ours as well. I am not the enemy, you are not the enemy. I never intended for my communication with you to bring you anything but perhaps some peace. I apologize for upsetting you, and wish you all the best. But, there is no cover up, nothing to hide. It sucked. Period.

When I spoke with the New Hampshire State Police they told me that the issues they found with the truck and trailer were all caused during the accident and that the truck was fit for being on the road. I refuse to blame the Bouchey's for any of this. It was an accident and there was nothing wrong with the truck my husband was driving. I really hope that this can just be put in the past.

I would however like to meet with you to hear what you have to say in person and be able to stop communicating through the internet.
