I don't think Rapists or murderers should be in the same area as inmates with "Light Felony" Charges, inmates That are in prison for Fighting Back! Also, I think the guards should have more training in Human Psycology than they get. When an inmate starts something with another inmate, they both should be in a Corrective Thinking Class, not in the Hole! The younger inmates especially. And they should have to take a parenting Class, And Anger Management, And learn a Trade. There only Human. They are not animals. Some inmates were unjustly put in the Prison System, by the System. They are treated like animals, Here's your food, wear this, take this,do that.Inmates who beat and Rape, should be in solitare in a Mental institution. Not in a Prison. They should be getting Medical Attention. They Are "SICK IN THE HEAD"! Some of the inmates with lesser crimes. Should be getting help outside of a prison. We Have the Resources! Why put them in prison? Help them!!! Prison in Most cases is a System Malfunction! Also, why put a felony charge on a 17 year old, and make it stick, and make his life miserable for the rest of his/her life? That is the biggest mistake I've seen. The young men grow up, and never get over it. Some have families, and they live on the streets in Cardboard Boxes. The Felonies need to be Removed Pemanently from an Inmate, Their record should start out clean when they are Released. Our System has Been Too Cruel For To Long. Then they wonder why are kids are going crazy, and getting into more trouble when they are released.Give them a second chance. They have nothing to look forward to with a Felony on them for the rest of their lives! They can't get a Job, they can't survive. Our system needs to change their Ideas, when it comes to Why Inmates are even in Prison! It is the systems Fault. They need to be getting help for the inmates. "REAL MEANINGFUL,HELPFUL,GOOD FOR THE MIND, BODY,AND SOUL. HELP. Instead of being so Judgemental, and Cruel. Most of these inmates want to change, they sometimes can't. Some are ADD, ADHD, some are depressed because of life situations. Why are these issues not being addressed and adhered to in a positive manner? Then they wouldn't have to worry about them fighting with each other. They need a great deal of understanding, patience, and therapy. Especially Mental.
