Refinery Fire

An explosion occurred about 30 minutes ago at the reinery. Anyone else have any info ?

i just spoke with a friend of mine that is still on the sinclair project - no one hurt...thank goodness.

My husband is working there and he texted me saying there was an explosion and is there now cleaning up the mess. He said he would call me later.

They shut all the work done and instructed all supervision not to talk to the media. No idea what caused the fire.

I know someone who is working the shutdown at the plant. He said there were alarms going off the night before. They thought it was under control, but there was some pressure that exploded, thereby setting off a nearby gas line.

Don't quote me on this. There has been no official release of info. Guys are supposed to head back to work on Tuesday.

anyone know if shutdown is still going on we were out there for 2 years 07-08 and got laid off been calling and know one anwers we are trying to get back out there
