What's their excuses! Did they makes excuses for paying their employees cash instead of checks! My oh my! Maybe When they paid by cash they overcharged their employees on the taxes they held out! Maybe they didn't hold any taxes out! That's more like it!

The hunts are above the law, after all they are the greatest hotdog shop in the county. They support the city by providing work for people and now you want them to pay taxes. WTF are you thinking, ahhh thats right you can't think. why don't you start talking about how we should elect debbie as recorder. her and idle will clean this town up. Crawfish will be the new chief, statts the new city manager. Gary should get a pay raise after all he is such a good man.

Come on let's hear the excuses! I fully agree he should be put an administrative leave until the situation is solved! But then again, he got by with throwing his little fit in the council meeting a while back! If it was another employee the would not be working for the city! What's the difference!

Maybe that is how they do their business, sweep it under the rug. That store has the ability to do make a lot of money. I heard one day Gary himself curse a mother who was on food stamps and when she had pennies to spend she would bring her young child in to buy the candy whatever he wanted. The lady was cursed and humilitated by Gary himself that she needed to get her fat a** out and stop living off of him. You can not talk to people and gossip about people and expect them to be customers. A little late now for a lesson in how to be nice. That lady was in tears and her child was scared to death. Learn to be nice to everyone and stop gossiping about everyone comes in and calling the bank to see if their check has enough fun. No Problem they still have their "friend" with deep pockets that will help them out. You reap what you sow.

I don't know. I'm pretty sick of welfare trash myself. Why can't they get a job and work just like the rest of us? Not excusing Gary's actions, but understanding his frustration with a welfare mom buying hot dogs or candy when she should be working a real job instead of living off the state and buying / feeding her children real food.

hmm...there are those mothers who actually NEED assistant. he so good a man, whether he chose to be nice to that woman and her kids or just nod and go on is his deal. BUT it is a "place of biz" and unless them kids be stealin she has a right to use anything she has as payment... Would he treat a young kid that if all that kid had was pennies? Just sayin...

There are so many things wrong with this paragraph, I'm not sure where to start - uh - so I won't. Mothers who NEED assistance or just won't work? Which is it? I have my doubts since I've done it my whole adult life and raised four kids in the process. Anywho..."unless them kids be stealin?" Whoah! I don't think I'd worry about that as much as MOM stealing from the taxpayers cause she won't take her sorry ass to work. Just sayin...

Honestly pal you dont have a clue. I have worked all my life and I lost my job. Having absolutely no money coming in I had to do something. If it were not for a few wonderful money to give me money and suggested that I get foodstamps. I signed up and got $200. a motn. I was extra careful and always had money left over. I have myself with money coming in, but everytime I used the card I remember the experience at Gary's. I am sure this mother spent her stamps very frugally like I did and came to Gary's so her child where he sold penny candie and let him pick out something for him. You mean you have never had a special day. No one in this country or this world should go hungry. You who complain should thank God you make enough money to feed your family. No one is going to change the minds of Gary or Debbie Hunt, but I do feel bad for the trouble they are going through. I hope it will taken up soon. I dont know what they have done, but I do know it is none of my business.

All you idiots talkin about go get a job need to realize two things. One, that craphole of a ploant out there is the only place that pays a living wage. And two, you losers that have worked out there have taken it for such a ride that it closed and no other manufacturer would ever come here with our sad workeforce, or should I say, strikeforce. Where shoukld this lady find work?
