Some of us will be showing up at the Ravenswood Fire Station this evening for an impromptu Town Meeting. The announced one was cancelled (due to tornado "watch" in area that was announced earlier today). Show up and whoever is there...let's talk.

What was the initial meeting going to be about or is this the Ravenswood action group meeting. What will be discussed, how awful everyone thinks the town is.

Well first of all they talked about the weather. you know the concerned members are concerned about the town so who better than to give them updates then mayor in training mike ilhe. He went to weather school. Then they all were wondering weather or not to circulate a petition among citizens to see if a tornado is a good excuse to cancel a town meeting.Heard formercouncilman and crawford were demonstrating the proper way to handle and use puppet strings. guess ilhe volunteered as the puppet.the preaching lawn care man came with his new John Dear disel tractor. He wanted to prove that reving up the mighty engine would drown out the train like noise of the approaching F4 tornado (herd the emt's had to open all doors and windows to air out the carbon monoxide fumes preachy man exhausted) but to the surprise of everyone attending alot of the smell came from all the horseshi Kidder carried in on his boots. Then crawford gave an inspriational talk on all the sweet things he has made in his career of being a pol. a pastry chef and candy maker. He emphasized the highly trained skill of fudge packaging. Then staats confessed he really wanted a large gathering of his friends to come so he would not here himself talk again. Let me check Mike's facebook page again to see if I am leaving any scoop out of the impressive impromptu meet and greet.

Guess some people find paying extremely high water bills a joke! And city supervisors throwing tantrums in council meetings acceptable behavior. Go post on Lucy's post to show your support!

damm man this is good. I did not attend now i wish i had. thanks for confirming the puppet master story. ol weather man mike and the fudge packer crawford story. I really don't think they will succeed with the petition. remember the last time they said they were over whelmed with people wanting to sign up. I guess mike and Ike will have to garner a few folks to help out. I was glad to hear that the EMT staff were prepared to render assistance in the event of a storm. I am the psycho i am the way vote psycho i have the final solution.

I agree this story is very entertaining, but why the hell is Kidder, Crawford and Wilson involved in this they dont even live in Ravenswood, and cant even vote in a city election. and in case you're wondering I am not for Lucy. she's a lier and a waste to the city of Ravenswood was her wasteful spending, and the news story about talking to officer about getting the plant to restart is B.S. she is using this as a way to get votes.

I thought the story was funny. Candidates are public figures, so they have to know that being teased comes with the territory and should get a sense of humor.

just like the rest of this freaken town wait and see, why do anything. if you bunch of dip shittes think that the reopening of the plant will save the city think again. that freaken plant will be the down fall of Ravenswood. Just a few people will benenfit. those of you who have been around for awhile will remember what happened when the merchants tossed you under the bus. if you didn't work at the plant you were dirt.you know i'm right vote psycho i am the way i have the final solution.
