Why is it ok for atheists and homosexuals to voice their opinions and beliefs but not for believers and straights? I know this will stir the pot but I must ask.

I guess it's because it's not right to target certain groups of people for hatred. Believers and straight people are like 80-90 percent of the population, ao their opinion is already well understood. It's the smaller groups, whether it be the gay and lesbian community or miltia gunnuts, that tend to demonstrate more. It's ok though. Part of living in a free country...

Because Christians are too busy turning the other cheek to take up for themselves. Many "believers" only gather on Wednesday and Sunday in order to win fake brownie points with a God that doesn't care about how much they attend a church. Many won't do the work to gather folk for an actual cause, like protecting their rights. They'd rather just complain about it.

... and they feel exactly the same way about you.
I often wonder why many "believers" become instantly defensive when someone voices a different opinion. And why do you single out atheists and and homosexuals? Are worried that your faith is weak and that might be a closet queer?

Interesting question on the cops part, but I've never heard him mention hating Christians.

Cops aren't an ethnic group. Blacks don't choose to be black and homosexuals don't choose to be homosexual. Most religous people are that way because they've been brought up to be that way since they were born. They didn't choose either. A filthy pig chooses to be a filthy pig. Usually in their 20s when they realize they can't finish school.

From my own careful observation, some people choose to become Christian once theyve realized that they can't take back something they feel guilty about.

It's all good. It is a free country. We are all with our own freedoms and rights, and the right to our own opinion. I believe that every human being has the right to believe in whatever they want and to follow that lifestyle freely. I believe in God, and that is my choice. My neighbor may believe that there is no God, and the next may be attracted to the same sex. Those choices belong to them and they shouldn't have to live in fear of Johnny Redneck at the Sav A Lot slashing their tires. I do not choose to bash because of anyone having a different opinion than mine. Free will, more people should at least give it a try. Just a few thoughts from this widow's son.

Yes we are all free. No doubt. Free to choose heaven or hell in this life or in the next. Completely up to you! So choose.

Here we go again - the presumptive Christian, condescendingly stating he knows what happens after we die. He doesn't.

You mean "she." Note the town LOL. Anyway, some people actually do feel that they have an idea of what will happen after we die, because they believe that The Bible was inspired by God. They believe that spirits can talk to the living. There is no proof one way or the other. You either believe or you don't.
