I believe it is about time something is finally going to be done to correct the overcrowding of the school. We have been a resident in the Ripley area for over 10 years and have had one child go through the schools and at that time they were overcrowded now over 9yrs later we are facing the same problems with our two other children as they enter the middle school.
Just maybe

If the Board of Ed would enforce the boundaries and send the Cottageville and Sandyville kids to Ravenswood, that would correct the overcrowding. Deals made over 40 years ago should have been corrected a decade ago.

The kids in Cottageville and Sandyville have always had the choice of where to go to high school so why all of the sudden should it be made mandatory for them to go to Ravenswood? Look at how much money the county puts into our sports programs ie.. expense of bus, new fields, new uniforms. Put that money into education and Jackson County could have some of the nicest schools in the state. Lets get our priorities straight.

well i dont believe that the should have to make a bigger school. i have never heard any of the kids complain and just think of the rivalry between the two towns. that would only make things worst honestly!

Daily Horoscope for November 24

Aquarius

The Moon enters sensitive Pisces and your second house of personal finances and values today, activating your sixth sense about money. You may be involved in a power struggle regarding finances with a government department, or an institution this year as powerful Pluto transits your twelfth house of matters behind the scenes; this is a long term transit that will play itself out over several years, so choose your battles wisely.
