my buddy has told me the plant will bring workers in very slowly. he is at the bottom of the totem pole. he said it may be a month or so before hes back. said constillium bring back as needed. slowly ramp up with as few as possible. oh my god, can they do this ? he said hes getting screwed by both the union and the plant. truth please ?

Imagine how slow it would be if they all had to take a reading comprehension exam before returning.

I think the only slow part will be the physicals/drug testing. I don't think they can "slowly" ramp up.

After extensive time studies over the last 6 weeks, its been determined the need is approximately 330 hourly employees. That number included maintenance workers. The question now is: Will the company have the courage to only bring that many back? My opinion is yes. Time will tell.

Ramp up is hilarious. We have been running near full plate production the entire time.

that can be true...not with what you have. im going by what my buddy said, which is constillum is in control now. they may only bring back so many at their leasure. he said he may be out for a long time, hes lower on the totem pole.

How did your friend find out his information? My husband called the union hall this morning and was told that all workers will start their regular scheduled shift on Monday, September 24th. Also our health insurance is back in effect. I wish people would just call to get correct information instead of spreading rumors! This is how this entire mess got started in the first place.
