Please stop saying "if you are just waking up" It comes across as condescending. It sounds like "I have been up for 3 or 4 hours now but if you lazy people are just now waking up, here's the news." I'm sure you don't mean it this way but it makes me cringe every time I hear you say it. Thank you

For many years I have been watching channel 8 news..by far, the best. However, no matter what talk show or news broadcasts I watch, the same phenomena occurs. EVERYONE TALKS AT THE SAME TIME!! Why? I can not understand what everyone is saying. So...I change the channel. Such cacophony is totally baffling to me.

Dana, if your brain were any smaller, you would need a microscope to see it. Melissa left at Thanksgiving. It's been mentioned on the air a hundred times and probably a thousand times in this forum. Pay attention.

I am an Eighth grade teacher and fellow Shaw Alumni. I was inquiring about your availiability to speak at the Eighth Grade Promotion at Marion C. Seltzer on June 9, 2010. The promotion ceremony is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The students have written letters that I will be forwarding to you along with my letter to apologize for the lateness of the request. You can reach me at [email protected] You are my favorite anchor and I hope you can accommodate our request.

I love watching Fox 8 all day every day it's my favorite. Something bothers me though, in your segment of pay it forward, you give someone $400. Which is nice, but when you have these people's stories, that doesn't really cut it. Why not add another zero to that. That would be more life changing than 400 dollars. When you are working the a church I know they can afford more than 400 bucks. Take care.

Wayne, I want to thank you for speaking at my grandson's East Cleve. school yesterday.(April 21st) He called me excited that you were there!

My grandson and his siblings have a hard way to grow up. By you being there and them knowing that you graduated from Shaw High School, they know that by hard work and setting goals for their lives, they can become successful as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to come and speak to the students there.

It would be great if people could actually spell or use correct grammar on these posts. I think the morning team on fox 8, with the exception of Stephanie, is lacking in every aspect of professionalism. The Kenny segments are ridiculous: the only adjectives he knows are "really cool," and the cameraman is clueless about wide angles since he usually focuses on the close-up shots of someone's facial pores rather than the big picture. Wayne is unintelligible at times because he cannot pronounce words properly, but is forgiven because he is a good "dresser." Whatever. Stacy Frye has a voice like cat claws on a chalkboard, and Tracy McCool needs to get a new hairdresser that does styles other than the HELMET LOOK.

Wayne, thank you so much for addressing the Regina High Class of 2010 at Commencement last night. Your words were encouraging and inspiring -- just what we all needed! We were excited to hear you would be speaking last night, and you didn't let us down. It's been a tough year at Regina, but last night was a beautiful moment of triumph.
I heard I missed Fox 8 coverage of the event, which aired at about 6:30 this morning. Is there any way I can access the coverage online? Please let me know.
Thanks again,
Brenda Bodnar

Checxk out Cadmium vs. cadium on the McDopnald's glasses.
Cadmium is a chemical element with the symbol Cd and atomic number 48. The soft, bluish-white metal is chemically similar to the two other metals in group 12, zinc and mercury. Similar to zinc it prefers oxidation state +2 in most of its compounds and similar to mercury it shows a low melting point compared to transition metals. Cadmium and its congeners are not considered transition metals, in that they do not have partly filled d or f electron shells in the elemental or common oxidation states.[2] Cadmium is a relatively abundant element. Cadmium was discovered in 1817 by Friedrich Stromeyer as an impurity in zinc carbonate.
Cadmium occurs as a minor component in most zinc ores and therefore is a by-product of zinc production. Cadmium was for a long time used as pigment and for corrosion resistant plating on steel. Cadmium compounds were used to stabilize plastic. With the exception of its use in nickel-cadmium batteries and cadmium telluride solar panels, the use of cadmium is generally decreasing in all other applications. This decrease is due to the high toxicity and carcinogenicity of cadmium and the associated health and environmental concerns. Although cadmium is toxic, one enzyme, a carbonic anhydrase with cadmium as reactive centre has been discovered.

Dear Wayne, I was watching the a.m. news show last week when you ran the story of the church whose statue of Jesus burned down due to lightening.
Your comment was "doesn't the Bible say something about worshiping idols?"
Yes it does, but I don't think this was the case. These people are sharing their adoration and love to their Savior.
Usually your team keeps these personal comments to themselves and it should stay that way.
I love to watch fox 8 in the a.m.

Mr. Dawson, I am writing to let you know that I take care of my grandmother and she loves to watch channel 8 Fox news in the morning so I try to watch it with her while she eats breakfast. I however do not enjoy it for several reasons.
The way you deliver yourself, you cross your arms, you slouch and your facial expression says you don't want to be there. I know you have been doing TV and radio for a long time, but acting like you just want to get it overwith is just too much for me to watch.
The 2nd reason is the CC is ridiculous! I found that Fox 8 has a specific blog just for CC complications/complaints...mus t mean something...none of the words typed make any sense whatsoever.
I really would like to enjoy watching Fox 8 news in the morning, but I end up finding something else to do. Its a shame, but I wanted to let you know my opinion.
