Why would anyone let their dog run loose? That too is inexcusable, but people do it all the time without being punished. This mother will have to pay a small fine and that is it! Just like dog owners that let their dogs run loose and expect everyone else to be responsible for what happens to them while they are on the loose! There are no fines! Or legal action taken against them!

I can't imagine people not using car seats for their children. I used them for my children, and they're adults now. People have to know better but choose to ignore it. I used to think it was ignorance, but now I think it's just out and out laziness and irresponsibility.

It makes me so angry when I see a parent driving down the road, and children are turned around and waving at me through the back window. I like the waving but I'd rather see them in car seats, or strapped in.

You're right about the dogs too Steve. I think a person must not love their dog very much if they let it wander down roads. I feel sorry for the dogs. It's like people are missing something in their hearts to not care for their animals better than that.

Everyone Is Pissed at the Dumb Mom... are you sure there are no fines in comstock park? There are in every other city, town, even in the country. It's $100 and it's called "Dog at Large". You have to have proof the dog was on loose and on your property, a picture with the dog and your house or garage in the background, or the dog there when Animal Control comes.
