I used to come to Janes Creek with my family when i was young. We would swim and fish all day there and i really loved that place. I remember a big iron bridge where we parked- i just wondered can you still get down there and swim? Does it have much water in it nowadays?

well the iron bridge is now a concrete bridge and has been for the past 20 years or so .back when we got all the rain the creek got up so high it undercut big holes just under the bridge, they are still probably 8 foot deep or better. currently they are screening gravel out of it so there is lots of trucks and other large equipment around. all and all i would say its still a good place for you and yours to come wade and fish, swim, or just hang out. the leaves are turning and the fish are biting. hope this helps, and enjoy the creek as much as me and my family do!

It would be a wonderful place if everyone would just pick up after themselves. Many leave cans, dirty diapers, bottles, food and wrappers, cigarette butts, etc. lying all over the place after they leave. We are lucky to have a place to hang out. Please have some respect. There are some decent people that leave it clean. Be one of them!

i've never explored the creek/canyon but have seen the spring.

is the area and creek public or private?
parking allowed by the spring/church? is there a public ramp/access or swimming hole anywhere on janes creek?
can one legally explore walk down the canyon or fish the creek without any trouble?

where was the cave/school? lone rock?
needles eye? easily found in winter or spring?

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
