Just a little tip to the Raven parents. It's really funny to me to sit back and watch you put your coaches on a peddle stool when just last season as a parent all i heard was complaining about how awful they were from several of you. Maybe if they did their job in the first place this wouldn't be an issue now. If you want to point the finger and blame someone then point it at your coaches who never did their job.

Worms or not....Guess who's back???? Shows the money hungry people that "run" the league, huh? I think the next election for this so called leaders may surprise all of you. This Richlands lady will help Raven any way I can, along with many more business owners here. Wrong is wrong....any way you put it.

We all know what happened to Raven. They got a little to close winning. ANd everyone knows, also, that if everyone had not started [email protected] about Raven....Cedar Bluff would have been on the chopping block this fall. Raven's reaction to this just may have saved your butts. Watch who you trust with your kids future!!

I'm a single parent and my 12 yr old kid really like to play football. At first, I'm hesitant to allow him to participate in this popular sport due to the fact of the physical traumas he can get out of this sport. Yet, my son had devoted interest for this sport and shown himself to be one of the top player in their team. As a mom, all I can do is to back up and guide him all the way, I usually browse over the web helpful facts about football that can help my son develop his inherent abilities plus we can get to discuss football principles and several other matters.

Excellent and useful write-up. I had come to understand something. Thanks.:-)

RCT has always been looked down upon even back I the day when we put a whipping on all the teams we played! I can remember traveling to Princeton,Lebanon,Castlewood and playing teams and RCT whipped up on those teams also! It's just a damn shame they are going to throw away such a tradition rich team! Roll On RCT!!

i am a parent of a cowboy football player on the midget team he has played for raven his 1st yr and he broke his arm and was out the rest of the season. I have no complaints against any team. i have a suggestion to all the parents that want the raven team back. A) write a letter to the board of the league b) write a petition up asking for support of the team c) get as many signatures as you can the more the better even have the kids sign it. D) also have every cheerleader and football player write letters tot he league and ask why cant we have our team and tell them about how much they love their tem and what they learned on their team and why the feel that they shouldnt have to go to a different team. all this information should be copied and one gave to the attorney if there is one as i have read there is one but then one copy kept with a destinated person for all bookkeeping on this matter, then mail all this stuff to the head person of the league if you can not get no one there than ask for the person that is over top of them there is someone always higher to go to right up to the congressman to the president start there and see how far you can go ........... i know i have no puncuation in this but i dont care it is just a suggestion and i am trying to help thank you

Thanks for the suggestion. We have done all that you suggested. It didn't do any good.
To Linda, there are many kids not playing, they are playing fall soccer or nothing at all.
You have kids on other teams that played for their teams a year or two or even more , quitting because they are not getting the play time they deserve. You have around 30 players in smurfs and peewee age level on every Richlands team. And on the midget level they are still struggling. So, the main problem, why the Raven Crimson Tide was dissolved in the first place, has not been dissolved, but the Board created another problem.

thats why your raven coaches who "fought so hard" are now raiders and cowboys coaches....the sad thing is that raven parents are too stubborn to register their kids to play and would rather let their kids suffer then get off their high horses. Btw it really looks like you people did a great job creating your own team....

The kids that wanted to play, played for other teams, that is why you have seen the Raven coaches coach other teams. I would try thinking before typing ;)
