ever watch a two or three year old take a crayon and mark all over a wall. then their are the older ones that take a can of spray paint and tag a wall and in doing so they are back to being two and three year olds.they wrap a rag over their head but that rag is what is called by some grandpa snot rag or that hair net on there head is called by some grandie nets. those baggie pants that fall below the buns thoses came from the jolly green giants closet.those flannel shirts are what came out of the doggie rag bag.most do not have a mirror that good they would scare themselves and have nightmares. this is one of ratons hard gansters.take this all off this kid and all you will find is a kid trying to find their personal identy.citizens of raton take another look at ratons gangesters.

So I am guessing the "3 Foot Mafia" still walk the mean streets of Raton in their wife beaters and pants fallin off their a$$. Do the cochina's still paint on their eyebrows with sharpies? Do the vato's in their 20's still cruise the Middle School to pick up their chica's? I bet the little hoodrats still huff paint and go to class with gold paint all over their face...I guess things never change lol

Smart Gangster? isn't that an oxymoron? Well its probably in the same category as a Hard Vato from Raton lmao

First of all lets lay off the word wana be.

The term can spark an individual to react and cause a disturbance or criminal activity. Why can't we be part of the solution rather then the problem.

People in Raton want to be heard and thats that. There is no need for feed back because we are all disgusted and miserable but until we act civilized we will not live civilized.

The arguments are all the same and after I post this I will be called some horrible names and people will make assumptions of who I am. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah...

Well, I don't care I want to know who these kids are walking the streets of Raton. Oh by the way, next time I see them out side my work walking by I am going to go up and talk to them.

just because I can and you can not.

We have great kids in Raton, don't stereo type them just because they are the blind being led by the blind.

I'd be more impressed if you pulled their pants up for them.

And I so agree with you there has to be some form of decency that we must instill in our children so that when they become adults they practice the same civilized mindset.

And I honestly believe it is the responsibility of the parents. Have you seen how some people go to court appearances. They look like they are going to the club... Come on where do we start respecting the law at? Much less respecting the man or woman next to you...

The reason the kids are the way they are is because there is nothing for them here to do but to be GANGSTERS. Them walking the streets, vandelizing business' and stealing from stores and homes. Come on city of Raton Get your priorities in order...

Nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is there is a LOT of things for Raton kids to do. And many kids DO take advantage of the programs and opportunities offered here. Some kids are busy every night of the week with clubs, church groups, sports, civic groups, homework, jobs, and outdoor opportunities.

The problem with the "gangsters", half-retarded mope parents breed half-retarded mope kids who don't WANT to do anything. Half of the parents in Raton let their kids drop out of school, then complain there's nothing for kids to do here?!? Give me a break. As if these parents would lift a finger to get their kids involved in whatever fantastic new opportunities you're dreaming about.

The extremely low quality of SOME kids is a direct result of extremely low quality parents. How many Raton kids live with two parents, their real parents? How many have criminals for parents? Parents on drugs, booze, or with gambling habits? Parents who are kids themselves? Parents who are unemployed, uneducated, illiterate, irresponsible... Parents who simply can't / don't / won't provide the guidance, discipline, motivation, support, and attention that kids deserve and need...

[QUOTE]...whatever fantastic new opportunities you're dreaming about.
Obviously the person from Las Vegas has something in mind? Undoubtedly a plan to take more money away from me and my family, and spend it on handouts for other peoples' kids.

It is so distasteful to see how so many of you get on here and speak about people from Raton like if we are trash. A lot of us are poor but you know what we have high speed internet and everyone one of our kids has a cell phone and maybe even two. Read between them lines we are connected...

But we are not by far helpless people. We are no different then any other community with our problems. We sit back and believe in our faith.

You kill our children in the name of Law Enforcement, lets call it a sacrifice for the blood thirsty dogs we have serving the public.

With the need for a kill and an unstoppable urge for sex we should consider this a greater threat to our community then that of non-traditional families. Half the sex crimes committed in Raton involve the Police or Sheriff. Think with your brains and not your peckers.

Stop blaming poverty because a lot of the times it pays to be broke then live with people like you who are narrow minded and judgmental.I trust in the home boys and home girls to protect my property more when I am gone then the pinche rattle snakes that wear badges.

Read between the lines, alright. People wasting money on crap they don't need while begging for handouts to buy groceries. How 'bout spending that cable TV and cell phone money on groceries and giving back the food stamps?

We grew up poor too. Lots of people do, you know. But poor back then was a different thing. Maybe we didn't have much money, but we were respected, hard-working, never got in trouble with the law, kept our properties clean, and most importantly NEVER took a dime in handouts from anyone. Of course we never wasted money on cell phones, cable tv, electronic toys, lottery tickets, beer or smokes...

Ok now you sound like a hater who has nothing but greed in their heart... Stop bitching chances are your tax dollars are keeping a child molester a live and well on death row instead of buying families food as you presume...

And if you dont like paying taxes try finding some where you will not them. Fool

I'm sure our tax dollars ARE supporting a bunch of child molester crack heads -- in and out of jail. That's why it's so great when they die in the back of the police car before they make it to the station.

I love paying taxes. The ones that build roads. The ones that support gangabees -- not so much.

(see what I did there?)
