That's a slap on the wrist? I don't believe so. If it was somebody that was a part of your family, I'm sure you would feel differently. A lot of these people made mistakes and now can't go back and change what they did. And, I'm sure a lot of them have kids that will also pay the price. 12 Years is no d* slap on the wrist if you ask me. Mostly because I've seen loved ones make one wrong mistake because they are young and think they won't get caught and they end up in a animal cage for 15yrs. People that would never dare do anything illegal again but have no chance to prove it to society. Teens when they begin their sentence and cold monsters when they come out. Because they sit in their with people who have done much worse then selling some drugs to a cop, they're in there with killers. Every day is a struggle for their life. Hmmm, just saying. And yeah, I seen the big difference between crack and cocaine that's crazy!

If you do the crime you do the time. This is what's wrong with our judicial system. The police are out there working hard trying to get criminals off the street and the courts are busy finding excuses to get them back on the streets. If one of my kids did or sold any type of drugs, I will personally take them to the police station. My father always said he would do that to my sister and me and neither of us have ever taken drugs. This may not always work but it has for me and my family.

Ok, on second thought perhaps the crimes would go down if they are convicted, they don't go to jail. They go to Afganistan and Iraq or even Somalia for their term. If the criminals come back alive their crime is completely wiped away. Of course, this would apply to murderers, rapists and sexual predators only. The rest would be able to fulfill their sentence in the jails and prisons because a majority of the cells would be empty and awaiting for their arrival.

Does anyone (with the exception of mADILYNSmOMMA)
see the difference in sentencing between cocaine and crack ... I personally, think its ridiculous!
The laws and sentencings 4 cocaine and crack should be one and the same!!!NOT probation 4 one and 11 and 1/2 years for the other!
