they drugg the dogs body out because the dog is considered a police officer and has the same rights as a human officer and when they walked out the house was starting to smoke and they already knew the guy was dead from them shooting him for shooting the canine. the dog comes first sorry.

Bobby apparently is posting things without knowing facts....FACT the man shot at the deputy first...he called for backup..police were on scene for over 8 hours trying to negotiate suspect refused to come out...police go in suspect fires shots at them and hit a SRT and the canine Zoey...killing Zoey luckily grazing the officer only...the suspect was known to have mental issues word of his family memebers themselves but nothing done by them to protect the community, the officers were doing just that...PROTECTING the community!

Hey Bobby, you little dipsh*t. Don't you know it's not against the law to burn trash outside of the city limits-especially white trash.

Another case of Police Corruption, and in Lincoln Co, that is as common as leaves on a tree.

Police corruption my ass. Those officers were in a fight for their lives because that POS refused to take any of the numerous opportunities offered to him to surrender. His sole intent was to take as many of them with him as he possibly could. You weren't there so shut the f*** up about what you know nothing about. That dog was indeed an officer of the law. She laid down her life to protect her fellow troopers. Because of her death they were warned of what they faced. Thank God those brave men were able to go home to their families that morning, hug their children, and kiss their wives. Unlike those unfortunate deputies in VA, they were able to live another day in order to protect your sorry ass.

dhc, were you on scene there? You must of been to know all of this as fact. Oh, I'm sorry, we all know the police wouldn't lie to the press to cover their own butts

dhc I agree with you 100%!!!! CRacker are you from Lincoln County?? If not how do you know anything about he Law Enforcement here, have you been ran out of Lincoln by the law? The suspect Mr. Stacy was going to kill an officer...he did he killed the K-9 Zoey. He was shot and killed before he was able to kill anyone else whether it was an officer, fire fighter, SRT or EMS. Mr Stacy also wounded a SRT..but he was shooting to kill! The police had every right to take this mans life before he took anyone elses life. To you CRacker if you were in a hostage situation who are you going to call???? Since you think so little of the law enforcement Id hope one day when you need them you will realize what kind of life they live putting their life on the line for others...also what their family goes through sitting and waiting to make sure their loved one makes it back home. These officers had no cell phone coverage no way to speak to any of their family memebers to let them know they were fine. I think a HUGE THANK YOU TO THE PUBLIC SERVANTS ON SCENE IS NEEDED!!! ALSO TO ALL THAT WERE ON STAND BY, THE DISPATCHERS AT 911, THE EMS AND LAW THAT CAME IN FROM OTHER COUNTIES AS WELL....RIP K9 ZOEY

Oh, I'm sorry we all know that people who break the law won't try to shoot their way out of the corner they've boxed themselves in. We all know that police officers shouldn't defend themselves. We all know no officer has ever lost their life trying to protect others. We all know that lowlifes won't speak out of their asses trying to defend other lowlifes.

Everyone that is supporting the police in any event is waisting your time with these idiots on here. Just save your fingers from typing. They have nothing better to do but bitch about things they will never take any initiative to help change. Just like they have never had any initiative to do anything in their lives. They have no jobs, and will never become productive members of society, it's sad because there really is more in life than these jack bags will ever have the chance to experience. Heck I didn't know HUD paid for internet now! Thanks to all who support our public servants in any state or community, they deserve it for doing what none of us on here want to do.

RIP WVSP K-9 Zoey! Gone but not forgotten

Actually, I am from Lincoln Co originally. I got my education and left that god forsaken hell hole. Corruption in Lincoln Co. is rampant. Anyone that says it it is not corrupt on all levels of govt and LE in Lincoln Co is just part of it. All LE is the same anyway, they lie for their friends and co-workers to cover their wrong doings. They abuse their power. LE is the biggest gang in the USA. They have "us vs them" attitude. Fuck them , they are nothing more than glorified report takers. When people call them and actually need them, the incident is always over before they can ever respond, unless it is some ordeal that is drawn out for hours. It's a cold world, you better pack your own heat !! I highly doubt I'll ever be taken hostage, I'm aware of my surroundings and operating in Code Yellow . My situational awareness is far superior to that of LE anyway. I'd take my chances on my shooting skills as well in a confrontational situation. The average officer might shoot his weapon every 3 months for practice. I run 500 rounds a week. I do like animals though, so I am sorry to hear about the loss of the dog. If Cops were only as loyal in their public service as the dogs were to their handlers ,what a great asset that would give the people!

How would the people that need to make the changes take you to jail? Policemen just work for a city, or county, or state. You will have to go higher than just a mere public servant. Changes need to start with the citizens, take back your town from the drug dealers and crack heads! But I'm sure your too scared to do that and will leave it up to the police and blame them for all your pathetic problems.
