It seeems to me that as much "hankey pankey" has been going on in the Judges basement, wouldn't it be more cost efficient to start out with 2 replacement employees at first to see if they can handle the work load. THAT would save the county 20K or so. Ill bet they could certainly replace 3 "sometimers" with 2 full timers!!

If you read the job openings for Murray County there are only 2 for Judge Buckner's office.

It's possible 2 can handle the work load. They will be new hires, so it may take a while to learn their jobs. Perhaps they will add a part-timer later? Opening the jail is the priority right now. Any "extra" money will be headed toward the Sheriff Department.

Don't let the openings fool anyone. She already knows who she's hiring!

This is the case many times with all job openings in the County. It is county rule that all jobs be posted!

She as well as the sheriff should be able to work whoever they please because they are going to be held accountable for what they do reguardless of whose fault it is good or bad.I say clean house,I know for a fact we have some good deputies, but let them reapply and keep their seniority pay if rehired. If not ,who wants to work where they are not wanted anyway and it is going to take a lot of doing things right to over come the reputation "some" have created for all of them already.
