And since so many Americans chose to sue rather than take responsibility for their actions...or in this case hold their child responsible for her actions, more and more people are just not going to be willing to take the risk of being a chaperon.

Especially in this day and age when more and more students refuse to obey the rules and then whine that their rights have been violated if they get punished for having broken a rule.
