Poplar Bluff lawyer to stand trial for alleged sale of prescription painkillers

A Poplar Buff lawyer arrested for selling prescription drugs in Stoddard County in December 2006 now has a trial date.

How many of you want to bet he gets away with it. If the truth was to be known he was probably in on it with the DR.

I hope he goes to jail. Any of these low life lawyers we can incarcerate would be a benefit to society. Hopefully he will be disbarred too.

I was wondering if he was ever going to have a court date. Attorney's tend to drag cases out, until it is no longer fresh in any one minds. I just hope he recieves punishment just like any other person. Ex: A friend of mine's brother was caught having 4 muscle relaxer prescription pills and recieved a 4 year sentence. Watch and see he will placed on private probation or pay a couple fines. They will probably knock it down to a jay walking ticket. LOL

Hopefully since he was busted in Stoddard County they will probally make an example out of him, if it was Butler county he would walk, unless the Feds take over the case, if that happens he will definatley do some jail time.

The case is weak or it would have been tried long ago. "Rich" has nothing to do with this delay. Probability of acquittal does.

All I know is that Mike Brookreson may or may not have been a good lawyer in the past. But, now, more than ever I'm sure he is an awful lawyer. Mike is a horrible attorney. He doesn't pay his bills. He doesn't do a good job for his clients. The only types that Mike represent are the low life scum of Poplar Bluff that don't have enough money for a better attorney. Mike is the biggest, lamest joke in Poplar Bluff.

Sooner than later Mike Brookreson, and Jessica Hicks, will more than likely be in prison for their drug involvement.

At that time, I thought she was in her twentys, but found out that she was his girlfriend. She and Erin Colove have a little battle ground history because Mike was banging Erin upstairs after Jessica left for school in the mornings. At that time, Erin Colove was working in his so called office, which he utilized as a home too. So, Mr. Mike had it goin on with two chicks. Jessica found out that Mike was secretely corting Erin, and they got into a fist fight at a local bar, which I still can't figure out how he hell Jessica was able to get into anyway being only 17 at the time.

Anyway, I can go on and on about Mike. Yes, he is on meth, and Iknow that for a fact too! As far a the ex wife Sherry, she is in trouble for a meth bust too. Look her up on case.net . She is under Sherry Brookreson.
