Go get a bunch of losing scratch off lottery tickets before the end of the year to show for losses. My parents go to Mountaineer in WV and won some cash so they turned in losing scratch off tickets when filing their PA. taxes. Should be the same or similar where you live. Ask a tax professional.

I am 23 years old, and my husband is 22. He shows no income. We have no children. Can I claim him as a dependent or can I claim head of household? Thanks.
