Well, I'll be: A wonderful story from Dano. Nice Job. (I may have to re-evaluate my opinion of Dano now. Okay, I thought about it. I'll stand pat. One decent story involving a Catholic priest that isn't filled with angst or anger does not my opinion change.)

Great article, Dan! Fr. Lombardi, who baptized our sons, is an awesome guy and holy priest. I'm glad I ran into this article. I plan on sharing it with others, in hopes of them buying raffle tickets.
Many American priests go to Africa on missionary trips and we're thankful that Fr. Jack Lombardi is one of them.

Nice story - I knew Fr. Jack from Holy Family - he's a good basketball player.
I'll be getting my ticket!
And thankfully, Dan didn't work in some trashing of the Church, which he usually manages to do.

A classic Dan Rodricks story. Dan has an amazing ability to wrap one totally unrelated story around another and make them fit like a glove As a missionary, car restorer, and "crusader for truth," I can surely relate. Now if the Catholics could only find another way to raise money for their projects other than by encouraging people to gamble, God would surely be glorified, and I am sure He would say this is a bases loaded home run. But a triple play ain't nothing to sneeze at either. Kurt Gladsky Towson Maryland
